    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the contact between purified water and a level gauge and the quality lowering of the purified water caused by the contamination of the level gauge by installing a means for measuring the position of a liquid surface which is not in contact with the purified water in a purified water storage tank, in an apparatus for producing the purified water equipped with the storage tank having a sterilizing lamp. SOLUTION: A reverse osmosis membrane module 2 is incorporated in a purified water producing apparatus 1, and raw water 3 is sent into the module 2 through a pre-treatment apparatus 6 by a pressure pump 9. Purified water 4 separated from the raw water 3 is collected in a storage tank 7. The storage tank 7 is equipped with a sterilizing lamp 15 to control the propagation of bacteria mixed into the purified water 4 in the tank 7, and two level sensors are fitted to the outer wall of the tank 7 with the contact with the purified water 4 in the tank 7 avoided. When the level position of the purified water 4 stored in the tank 7 comes to the position of the upper level sensor, the pump 9 is stopped.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply purified water of stable quality freely heatedly/cooledly by controlling raw water and filtrate at a desired temperature in the production method of purified water using a separation membrane for separating raw water into filtrate and concentrated water. SOLUTION: Raw water 3 obtained from city water 12, well water and others, after being stored in a raw water storage tank 8, is sent to a pre-treatment apparatus 6 by a raw water pump 13. The raw water 3 is sent to a reverse osmosis membrane module 2 by a pressure pump 9. Filtrate 4 separated from the raw water 3 is collected in a purified water storage tank 7, while concentrated water 5 is returned to the tank 8. The filtrate 4 is sent to a water treatment apparatus 30 and others by a water sending pump 10. A raw water control box 8d, while controlling a heater 8a and a cooler 8b by the signals of a raw water temperature sensor 8c, circulates city water 12 by a raw water circulating pump 8e and controls its temperature freely. In this way, the temperature of the raw water 3 is always controlled to be constant, and stable operation is conducted.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To laminate optical fibers in parallel without crossing by arraying optical fibers, lead in a couple of gates at an interval a little larger than the diameter of the optical fibers, in a line and then putting them in contact with each other. SOLUTION: Many optical fibers 12 are arranged having their axes almost in parallel and led in couples of gates 18, 18' and 19, 19' at intervals a little larger than the diameter of the optical fiber 12, so that adjacent optical fibers 12 are arrayed in a line. The positions and order of the optical fibers corresponding to an incidence surface and a projection surface can be held accurately in 1:1 correspondence relation. Then adjacent optical fibers 12 are brought into contact from both the sides of the arrayed optical fibers 12 by contacting means 22, 22' and 23, 23', so such trouble that some optical fiber runs over other fibers is prevented and the optical fibers 12 can be brought into contact with each other while the correspondence relation is secured. Further, the optical fibers can be arrayed closely in the vertical direction.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To enhance the brightness of a whole display surface and to uniformize it by arranging a liquid crystal display unit at a position facing a linear light source and adjacent to the linear light source and constituting it so that it is closely brought into contact with the incident surface of an optical fiber screen. CONSTITUTION: A high-luminance metal halide lamp 52 is arranged perpendicularly on the inside of a light source casing 51 and a reflector 53 efficiently guiding light emitted from the lamp 52 downward is provided on the inside of the casing 51. Then, an IR cut mirror 54 inclined by 45 deg. is provided under the lamp 52. Besides, a UV cut filter is installed at the exit window of the casing 51. The liquid crystal display unit 55 is installed at a position adjacent to the exit window in close contact with the incident surface 56a of the optical fiber screen 56. By a display device constituted in such a way, the luminance of a lap becomes high because the linear light source is used. Since the light emission part is linear and long, a wide range can be irradiated. Therefore, the irradiation light can be more uniformly guided to the display surface and the difference of the brightness can be reduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply filtrate without the deterioration water quality efficiently by changing the initial discharge time of the filtrate produced by a liquid separating membrane module by predicting the degree of deterioration of water quality corresponding to an apparatus environment. SOLUTION: A reverse osmosis membrane module 2 is incorporated in a pure water generator, and city water 3 supplied through a pretreatment apparatus by a pump 8 is separated into filtrate 4 and concentrated water 5. The filtrate 4 is collected in a pure water storage tank 7 and sent to a next process such as water treatment apparatus. When the tank 7 is filled fully, the pump 8 is stopped, a filtrate valve 11 changed over to the 11B side, and simultaneously a machine stopping timer 32 is started. When the filtrate 4 is consumed and the water level of the tank 7 reaches a lower limit, the operation is started again. The discharge time T of a discharge timer 36 is determined from a machine stopping time and a temperature coefficient based on an atmosphere temperature and others, after the passage of the discharge time T, the valve 11 is changed over to the 11A side, and the filtrate 4 is stored again.

The reverse osmosis membrane element consists of a structure having the liquid sepn. membranes 30 around the water collecting pipe 23. The filtrate water 4 transmitted through the liquid sepn. membranes 30 passes a plurality of the water collecting holes 23a arranged at the water collecting pipe 23 and flows out of a water collecting hole 23x. The opposite side of the water collecting hole 23x of the water collecting pipe 23 is provided with the end-sealing member 40 to prevent the outflow of the filtrate water 4 and the inflow of the raw water 2. The shape of the end-sealing member 40 has such a member insertion part which arrives at the extreme end hole 23z of the water collecting holes 23a arranged at the water collecting pipe 23.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to easily control the density of dissolution and continuously run the apparatus by providing it with at least one powder feeder having an opening to put in specific amount of powder on the top and freely of turnable underneath and applying under it a dissolution basin to dissolve the powder. SOLUTION: When dissolving powder, a specified amount of previously measured powder then (powder for A-chemical dialysis undiluted solution) is put in several hopper(s) 1, then water in a dissolution basin 2 a little less than required amount is injected to be, agitated. The hopper 1 is turned on and it is stopped at a specified angle so that the powder inside falls into the dissolution basin 2. It is turned backward to its original position and it is again turned as far as it comes at a larger angle than before and stopped to eject the powder out. This action is repeated as much as required until all the powder falls off. The bottom face of the dissolution basin 2 is processed to a slant so that the injected powder is smoothly gathered onto the agitating space to be quickly dissoluted.
