Abstract:
A NOVEL CLASS OF COPLYAMIDES IS PROVIDED WHICH IS SYNTHESIZED FROM A MIXTURE CONSISTING OF (A) 45-90% BY WEIGHT OF PARAXYLYLENE DODECANE-DIOIC ACID DIAMIDE, (B) 10-45% BY WEIGHT OF METAXYLYLENE DODECANE-DIOIC ACID AMIDE AND (C) -45% BY WEIGHT OF HEXAMETHYLENE DODECANE DIOIC ACID AMIDE. THE COPOLYAMIDES OF THIS INVENTION ARE ESPECIALLY VALUABLE WHEN MANUFACTURED INTO FIBERS.

MORE PARTICULARLY, THE INVENTION RELATES TO A POLYAMIDE FIBER CONSISTING OF A COPOLYAMIDE OF PARAXYLYLENE DIAMINE WITH TWO A-W DICARBOXYLIC ALKANES EACH HAVING 6-13 CARBON ATOMS AND DIFFERING FROM ONE ANOTHER IN THAT ONE OF SAID ACIDS HAS 1-2 CARBON ATOMS MORE THAN THE OTHER.

STRONG, CRYSTALLINE, LOW MODULUS, LOW SHRINKAGE FILAMENTS ARE FORMED BY DRAWING AND MELT SPINNING A NOVEL TERNARY COPOLYAMIDE CONSISTING, BY WEIGHT, OF 30-80% (PREFERABLY 30-70%) PARAXYLYLENE SEBACAMIDE, 10-60% METAXYLYLENE SEBACAMIDE, AND 10-60% HEXAMETHYLENE SEBACAMIDE. THE COPOLYAMIDE IS MADE BY POLYMERIZING THE THREE SEBACAMIDE SALTS UNDER PRESSURE AT A TEMPERATURE BELOW 300*C.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the image display device which displays a bright and sharp image so that the optical image on the image display surface has a wide visual angle and is never difficult to recognize image information owing to the reflection of environmental disturbing light, and an extremely easy method for its manufacture. CONSTITUTION:After one end surfaces of many optical fibers 8 are arranged on a support plate 3 in a plane, the surface of the support plate 3 is coated with photosensitive transparent resin 5 to which a light diffusing agent and a surface active agent are added, and the photosensitive transparent resin 5 at the periphery of the end surface of the optical fibers 8 on the support plate 3 are cured by projecting light on the other end surface of the optical fibers 8 to form many a microlens-shaped light diffusion layer 4, thereby forming the image display surface 3 for an optical image.

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in transmittance by providing a measuring gear and providing polymer leak grooves which are communicated to the sliding part with said measuring gear and to the sliding part with a driving shaft, on a bearing part which slides with the measuring gear and, further, providing a polymer discharge flow passage communicated to the leak groove and a discharge port connected to said discharge flow passage. CONSTITUTION:A polymer/monomer mixed liquid flows in from the arrow direction and is measured and conveyed downward by means of a measuring and conveying device. Gears 1a, 1b are driven by a motor via a driving shaft 4a. The driving shaft 4a is held, made slide, and rotated, by bearing parts 2a, 2b. Here, fine grooves 3 are formed on the contacting faces 19 between the side faces of the gears 1a, 1b and the bearing parts 2a, 2b, and on the bearing parts at the sliding parts with the driving shaft 4a, allowing the polymer/ monomer mixed liquid to flow through the fine grooves of the bearings, to lubricate the shaft. Thereby, the mixed liquid which finished lubricating is again returned to the fine grooves, preventing the mixed liquid as a whole from returning to a main flow, and making it flow into a polymer flow passage 6. Thereby, the mixing in of dust due to sliding can be prevented.
