    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an indirect sound from being buried in a noise level even when a sound volume is lowered and to obtain a sufficient Hall acoustic effect by increasing the ratio of the transmission gain of an indirect sound signal to the transmission gain of a direct sound signal in a condition in which the level of the direct sound signal is level control operated so as to go to a prescribed value or below. CONSTITUTION:Variable resistors 35 and 38 are interlocked with a variable resistor 40 for an external operation, and by operating a sliding piece 40a of the variable resistor 40, sliding pieces 35a and 38a of the variable resistors 35 and 38 are moved, and the indirect sound signal and direct sound signal are both level-controlled. Here, in the condition in which the level of the direct sound signal is level-control-operated so as to go to the prescribed value or below, the ratio of the transmission gain of the indirect sound signal to the transmission gain of the direct sound signal is made high. Thus, even when the sound volume is lowered, the indirect sound cannot be buried in the noise level, and the sufficient Hall acoustic effect can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain an easy handling and to prevent an error in a measurement from being produced by counting the number of the pulses of pulse signals respectively having frequencies proportional the number of the rotations of reels and generating an output corresponding to the quantity of a tape travel. CONSTITUTION:The tape is previously traveled at a specified constant speed for a constant period, the number of the pulses to be obtained for every travel of the tape to a prescribed distance to detect that the counted value of the pulse signal generated together with the actual rotation of the reel coincides with the number of the calculated pulses and measure the quantity of the tape travel. Thereby, an idler is not required, which is different from the convention, and the constitution can be simplified. It is not required to previously input and set the length of the using tape or a recording and reproducing time or the like to attain the easy handling and measure the correct quantity of the tape travel influenced by no unevenness in the thickness of the tape.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To miniaturize the titled circuit when it is converted to an IC, by sampling an analog reproducing signal obtained from a head by a specific frequency and converting it to a digital data, thereafter, detecting a pilot signal component by a digital filter. CONSTITUTION:When a reproducing signal RF obtained from heads 12, 13 is converted to a digitized data by a sampling signal having the same frequency as that of an erasing signal E by an A/D converting circuit 24, in this digitized data, only with respect to the frequency of the erasing signal, a turning-back signal E' appears in an OHz spot by a sampling theorem. The band of this turning-back signal E' can be regarded as a frequency being low enough against the frequency of a pilot signal. Therefore, by supplying the digitized data outputted from the A/D converting circuit 24, to a digital filter 25 having a prescribed characteristic and eliminating synchronizing signals SYNC 1, 2, the erasing signal E and the turning-back signal E', and their band components, only a pilot signal P component can be extracted easily.

SOLUTION: A decoder 12 decodes and reproduces a voice program consisting of coded voice signals coded with a frame unit. At the time, a gap part in which a voice signal is not reproduced is detected by a gap detecting section 13, a partial voice sample value having almost the same length as the gap is taken out from a voice digital sample group in adjacent to the gap by a memory 14 and a memory controller 15, and a continuous voice signal is obtained by filling the gap.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a tape recording/reproducing device capable of effectively accessing to image information recorded on the tape and controlling it. When the selection of a program is specified corresponding to this display, the accessing information of this specified program is selected, a command is given to a mechanism control circuit 24, the tape 11 is driven and the recorded part of the specified tape is read out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To constantly hold a tape traveling speed at al times without reading the data recorded on a tape by obtaining the data corresponding to the tape traveling speed by using the pulse signal having the frequency proportional to the revolutions of a tape feeding side reel and winding side reel. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd pulse signals respectively proportional to the revolutions of a tape feeding side reel and tape winding side reel are made to generate and the tape traveling speed in a tape high speed reproducing state is measured by utilizing these 1st and 2nd pulse signals. And based on this measured tape running speed the tape running speed at tape high speed traveling time is constantly controlled and the rotary speed of a rotary head is made to control as well so that the relative speed of the tape and rotary head at this time may become about equal to the relative speed at the time of a tape reproduction state. The tape traveling speed during tape high speed reproduction can thus be constantly held always by measuring the tape traveling speed without reading the data recorded on tapes and correct data retrieval can be performed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a lingering tone and a small sound volume part from becoming a noise level or less, and to listen to the sounds by controlling the gain of a variable gain amplifier so that the dynamic range ratio of an input/ output audio signal may be smaller in a condition when a sound volume is controlled so as to be attenuated. CONSTITUTION:The amplitude level of the input audio signal supplied to an input terminal 22 is controlled by a variable gain amplifier 23, and fetched from an output terminal 24. In the condition when the sound volume is controlled so as to be attenuated or amplified, the gain of the variable gain amplifier 23 is controlled so that the ratio of the audio signal inputted to the variable gain amplifier 23 to the dynamic range and the ratio of the audio signal outputted from the variable gain amplifier 23 to the dynamic range may be respectively smaller and larger. Thus even when the sound volume is attenuated, the lingering tone and the small sound volume part do not become the noise level or less, and they can be listened to.
