Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify a radio system by using a holding circuit for a timewise output as a reset circuit in space diversity(SD) control and applying the interruption of the SD system and reset control with one control line or a switch. CONSTITUTION:When a reset signal is given to the reset circuit of an SD control panel 21, a timewise holding circuit 20 releasing forcedly the generation of an interruption signal 15 and restoring the circuit for the prescribed time is provided, and the SD operation is succeedingly restored in the absence of a fault by releasing the interruption signal 15 for the output period of the holding circuit 20. Thus, the interruption of a sub reception system and the automatic reset operation for the restoration are implemented with one switch 18 or a control line. Thus, a radio communication equipment having a reset circuit controlling the required SD system is obtained with a simple constitution.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the fluctuation in the resonance frequency of a dielectric resonator with immunity to the effect of moisture change by sealing a resonance circuit comprising the dielectric resonator and plural strip lines coupled magnetically therewith. CONSTITUTION:A shell 31 and a stem 32 are formed to an air-tight package 8 while they are fixed together and a disk shaped base 33 is fixed to the upper face of the stem 32. The dielectric resonator 34 is fitted onto the base 33 via a support dielectric 35 and strip lines 36, 37 coupled magnetically with the resonator 34 are formed. A terminator 38 is connected to one end of the line 36 and a terminal pin 9 led externally is connected to the other end via the stem 32. Further, a terminal pin 10 led externally is connected to one end of a line 37 via the stem 32. Since the resonance circuit comprising the resonator 34 and the lines 36, 37 is sealed in the air-tight package 8 in this way, the resonator 34 is immune to the effect of moisture change.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep a stable phase lock state even for a large change in the operating condition by providing a control circuit producing a signal corresponding only to a DC or a low frequency component of a signal filtered by a loop filter and applying an output of the control circuit as a control voltage signal to a limit circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a signal transmitted from the loop filter 4 is inputted to a passing filter 8, a signal extracting a low frequency component and a DC component only from the signal from the filter 4 is formed and the resulting signal is transmitted to a control circuit 7. When the control circuit 7 inputs the signal, the circuit 7 produces a signal of superimposition between a signal reducing the signal voltage into 1/M and a voltage Vr dividing a DC voltage Vcc applied to a terminal 15 by resistors and inputs the said resulting signal to the limit circuit 12. When the limit circuit 12 receives this signal and the signal from the loop filter 4, the circuit 12 superimposes the signal from the control circuit 7 onto a signal reducing a signal voltage from the loop filter 4 into 1/N to form a phase control voltage signal. The phase control voltage signal is transmitted to a VCO1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reach a receiving state to an in-phase condition without fail and to enable reception in the most satisfactory state by increasing a step phase shift amount for a prescribed amount by a perturbation method so that the change direction of a relative phase between first and second communication systems according to the perturbation method can be a normal state to alternate ly repeat increasing and decreasing directions. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a detecting means 82 to detect whether or not the changing direction of the relative phase between the first or second communication system according to the perturbation method is turned to the normal state to alternately repeat the increasing and decreasing directions, and a phase shift amount control means 72 to variably control the phase shift amount per step according to the perturbation method. When it is detected by the detecting means 82 that the normal state is obtained, the phase shift amount control means 72 increases the phase shift amount per step according to the perturbation method by the prescribed amount. Thus, even when the detection limit of reception level deviation is present thereon, the receiving state can read the in-phase condition without fail and the reception can be executed in the most satisfactory state.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize the self-running frequency and the frequency control sensitivity by inpressing a voltage for temperature compensation corresponding to the change in ambient temperature to a 2nd varactor diode. CONSTITUTION:If the self-running oscillation frequency of a voltage controlled oscillator is fluctuated in the decreasing way because of the rise in ambient temperature, a temperature detection circuit 21 detects the temperature rise and outputs an output voltage (vol v) corresponding to the increasing increment to an adder circuit 22. The adder circuit 22 adds the control voltage Vo and an output voltage (vo+ v) from the temperature detection circuit 21 and applies the resulting voltage (V0+vo+ v) to the cathode of the 2nd varactor diode 20 for temperature compensation. Thus, the capacitance of the 2nd varactor didode 20 is decreased by a quantity corresponding to the voltage v, resulting that the resonance frequency of the voltage controlled oscillator is compensated in the increasing direction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten test time when the loop back test of its own station is performed in transmission/reception facility of space diversity(SD) reception system. CONSTITUTION:This tester is equipped with a frequency converter which generates a false reception signal, a distributor 6 which distributes the false reception signal to two systems, first and second output terminals 11b, 11c which output a distributed false reception signal to a main reception panel 7 and a sub reception panel 8, respectively, and delay circuits 12, 14 interposed to a signal line between the distributor 6 and the first or second output terminal 11b or 11c. The distributor 6 is provided in a loop back tester 11, and also, the delay circuits 12, 14 are incorporated for its own station loop-backing, therefore, it is possible to immediately perform the loop back test of its own station without necessitating the switching of the delay circuit in the reception panel of a device main body at a site.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the undesired resonance mode by providing a conductor member at a position where the electric field strength at the undesired resonance mode is maximum. CONSTITUTION:A metallic rod 16 being a conductive member is projected in a case 11 at a position from the installed center of a dielectric resonator 13 apart by a distance of a diameter D of said resonator 13 and the quantity of projection is provided adjastable externally from the case 11. Even when the inner diameter of the case 11 is not suitable for the basic mode TEO1delta and might cause the undesired TE11delta mode, since the metallic rod 16 is arranged at a point where the electric field of the mode TEO1delta is maximum, the undesired mode TE11delta mode is suppressed. Further, the restriction of the size of the case is eliminated to increase the degree of freedom of the circuit design and the resonance at the stable basic mode is obtained without losing the economy.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To change only an output phase in response to an external signal by providing a voltage controlled oscillator, a reference oscillator, a phase comparator circuit, an offset control circuit and a loop filter so as to attain excellent noise performance. CONSTITUTION:The phase of an output signal of the voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) 2 phase-locked to the reference oscillator 3 is varied by controlling the DC offset of the output of the phase comparator circuit 4 in the phase-locked circuit. Thus, a modulation signal is inputted from an offset control signal input terminal 16 via an offset control circuit 13 as the DC offset control signal of the circuit 4 so as to act an output phase variable phase locked oscillator 15 like a phase modulator. Further, is using a signal source with an excellent phase noise characteristic for the oscillator 3, the phase noise characteristic up to the off-carrier frequency corresponding to the in-band of the loop filter to the VCO output signal is improved. Thus, only the output phase is changed in response to the external signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a space diversity from falling into a function shutting off state by supplying a phase shift control signal to be outputted from another communication unit instead of the phase shift control signal of a self-unit when a phase shift control operation can not be executed by the phase shift control circuit of the self-unit. CONSTITUTION:At every respective communication units 10 and 20, this equipment is provided with switching circuits 14 and 24 to selectively supply the phase shift control signals to be outputted from phase shift control circuits 13 and 23 of the self-units and the phase shift control signals to be outputted from the communication units of another channel, for which a radio frequency is made close within a prescribed range, to the phase shifters of the self units. When the phase shift control operations can not be executed by the phase shift control circuits 13 and 23 of the self units, the switching circuits 14 and 24 are changed over and the phase shift control signal to be outputted from the other communication unit is supplied to the phase shifter of the self unit. Thus, the communication unit, in which the phase shift control circuits 13 and 23 can not be operated, continues the phase shift operation by the phase shift control signal from the other communication unit until the self-control is enabled, and a transmitting operation can be executed without fail.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To cut off a second antenna system, to simplify a circuit and to reduce, cost by making an existing amplifier or a frequency converter a non-action condition when trouble is generated to a control part controlling the phase of a local oscillator. CONSTITUTION:When trouble occurs in a control part 12b and the phase control of a local oscillating signal by a phase shifter 7 is not executed normally, a switch circuit 15 is switched to a non-connection terminal side. As the result, the supply of a bias voltage to an amplifier 8 is stopped, and the amplifier 8 becomes a non-action condition. At the same time, a zero control signal is sent to the phase shifter, and a local oscillating level from the phase shifter 7 is attenuated. Thus, an antenna 2 system is made equivalent to a cut-off condition, and the improper synthesizing of antennas 1 and 2 systems is evaded. Consequently, the circuit can be constituted simply and at a low cost.
