PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetoresistance effect magnetic head and a magnetic recording/reproducing device with high sensitivity and reduced noise.SOLUTION: A magnetic head according to the embodiment comprises: first and second magnetic shields facing one another; and a magnetoresistive film that includes a first magnetic layer provided between the first magnetic shield and the second magnetic shield and including a first metal layer containing 90 at% or more of Fe element and a first Heusler alloy layer, a second magnetic layer arranged so as to face the first Heusler alloy layer, and that includes an intermediate layer provided between the first Heusler alloy layer and the second magnetic layer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a mask and an organic EL display element that realizes an organic EL display element having a high fineness by a simple process and with a high yield of manufacture. SOLUTION: A stripe shape shadow mask is used in laminating the organic luminous layers 7R, 7G, 7B. By irradiating a laser beam, the organic luminous layers 7R, 7G, 7B are cut for each picture element. A highly fine display quality which has not been realized when using a lattice shape shadow mask that was difficult to make a fine processing in the conventional method is materialized by using a stripe shape shadow mask that is easy in processing.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate that prevents the step-disconnection of wiring, improves the shape of wiring, prevents a resistance rise resulting from the oxidation of wiring and electrode materials caused in annealing step and also the occurrence of stray current corrosion with an ITO, and to provide a method of manufacturing the substrate and a liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The array substrate is provided with thin film transistors provided at every intersections of a plurality of scanning lines 5, with a plurality of signal lines being formed on a transparent substrate 1, pixel electrodes 10 which receive signals fetched by means of the transistors, and wiring 17 and 10 which is formed on insulation layers 9 and connects the electrodes 10 to their corresponding thin-film transistors. The wiring 17 and 10 is constituted in laminated wiring composed of first metal layers 17 formed on the insulation films 9 and second metal layers 10 formed on the layers 17. The second metal layers 10 contains at least one element selected from among silver, gold, and copper and the first metal layers 17 are constituted of a metal material, which is more easily oxidized than that of the second metal layers 10.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat display equipped with an array substrate having a reflection electrode which has a high reflection factor and excellent contact with an insulating film and whose manufacturing process is easy. SOLUTION: The flat display is equipped with the array substrate comprising a substrate, a plurality of signal lines formed on the substrate, an insulating film which is formed covering the signal lines, a contact hole which is formed in part of the insulating film so that some of the signal lines are exposed, a 1st electrode which is formed in the contact hole and on the insulating film, brought into contact with the signal lines through the contact hole, and made of silver alloy or silver with oxygen of specified density added thereto, and a 2nd electrode which is formed on the 1st electrode and made of silver alloy or silver. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a wiring shape and to prevent an electrical contact with an ITO while preventing the occurrence of row disconnection in wiring and the increase of the number of processes. SOLUTION: The array substrate has a transparent board 1, a plurality of scanning lines 5 formed on the board, a plurality of signal lines formed on the board so as to cross the scanning lines, thin film transistors which are provided for all crossings between the scanning lines and the signal lines and which captures signals from corresponding signal lines on the basis of the voltages of corresponding scanning lines, and pixel electrodes 10 which are provided correspondingly to each thin film transistor and which receive signals captured by the thin film transistors. The signal line is laminated wiring consisting of a first metallic layer 17 formed on an insulation layer 9 and a second metallic layer 10 formed on the first metallic layer. The first and second metallic layers have the same main components and contain at least one element among silver, gold, or copper.

SOLUTION: In carrying out etching of laminated films consisting of silver or a silver alloy by using an etching solution consisting of mixed acids composed of a phosphoric acid, nitric acid and acetic acid, the etching solution is made to flow and the flow intensity thereof is specified to a range from the fluid intensity at which the etching reaction starts up to the fluid intensity of 67% thereof.
