Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain good sealing property, prevent the mixing of oxidizer gas and fuel gas, and prevent leakage by providing ring-shaped seal members inserted with insulators between multiple ring-shaped metal members between adjacent upper and lower separators of manifolds. CONSTITUTION:Ring-shaped seal members 14 are provided in oxidizer gas feed/ exhaust manifolds 4 and 5 and fuel gas feed/exhaust manifolds 6 and 7, ring- shaped metal members 16a and 16b of ring-shaped seal members 14 and adjacent separators 3 are welded together, thus both gases are completely sealed for feeding end exhausting, and oxidizer gas and fuel gas are not mixed. When respective members have approximate linear expansion coefficients at connection sections between ring-shaped metal members 16a and 16b and insulators 15 and welded sections between ring-shaped metal members 16a and 16b and separators 3, no distortion is generated by the difference in thermal expansion, and durability and the sealing property can be secured.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize a fuel cell having excellent earthquake resistance and high relability by supporting a stack or a storage container with a predetermined method. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel cell which consists of a cell stack 4 formed by laminating multiple number of unit cells 3 and a storage container 2 in which the cell stack 4 is housed, the heat insulating material 17a-17c are filled between the peripheral surface of the battery stack 4 and the storage container 2. Or, a fastening means 13a of the described cell stack 2, which can be expanded or moved freely in the layer direction, is connected between an upper part of the cell stack 2 and the top surface in the storage container 4. Or, the storage container 2 is supported through a supporting means having elasticity near a center of gravity of the storage container 2. Or, multiple number of storage containers of the described battery stack 4 are arranged to connect between described storage containers 4 adjacent to each other through connecting members.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the soundness of an upper lattice plate and a shroud by setting a wedge block for constraining the movement of a horizontal direction of an upper lattice plate and a mechanism for holding the position of the wedge block. CONSTITUTION:In the state in which a pin 23 is inserted in a hole 22, a wedge block 9 is inserted and engaged between the inclined face 10 of a shroud side block 8 and the outer periphery of an upper lattice plate 3 from an upward side. The pin 23 is rotated, the lowest position in which the wedge block 9 is descended is searched and the pin 23 is fixed so that a projecting part 23 is brought into contact with the lower face of the wedge block 9 at the position thereof. A keeper 12 is fixed. The position of the wedge block 9 is held by a position holding mechanism 21 because it is prevented from being moved downward by the deformation of a lattice plate 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively restrict the vibration, by providing a spring cylinder within a double cylinder with both a disc with an orifice, which is provided to a shaft rod, and a spring-like damping member and installing an orifice to the spring cylinder together with filling the inside of the spring cylinder with viscous fluid. CONSTITUTION:A shaft rod 3 provided with a disc 4, to the end of which an orifice 10 is attached, is accommodated in a spring cylinder 2. Metallic, rigid spheres 8 and 8 are placed in grooves between the spring cylinder 2 and the outer periphery of the disc 4 and in a groove between the shaft rod 3 and the inner periphery of the spring cylinder 2, where the rod 3 goes through the cylinder 2. Metallic, spring-like damping members 6 and 6 are provided to both ends of the disc 4 within the spring cylinder 2. In addition, an elastic member 7, which elastically deforms corresponding to the movement of both spring cylinder (2) end and shaft rod 3, is provided. The inside of a space, which is formed with the spring cylinder 2 and the elastic member 7, is filled with viscous fluid such as oil. As a result, the vibration of an earthquake etc. can be effectively absorbed or restricted, owing to the pressure difference, an energy loss of the fluid, which is caused when the fluid passes through the orifice, and the elastic force.

CONSTITUTION:In a supporting structure of reactor core elements 61, a seal ring 65 is provided into a gap 49 between a lower circumferential wall of an orifice hole 45 of an entrance nozzle part 25 and an inner wall of a connection pipe 23, in order to constitute the gap 49 to be a closed room. By this constitution, there is no flowing-in of a coolant into a gap between the lower circumferential wall of the orifice hole 45 and a fuel charging part 63, in the case that the reactor core elements 61 are seating on and supported by the fuel charging part 63, and, therefore, vertical force by the coolant can be diminished and floating up and leaning down of the elements 61 can be well prevented.
