    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stably control the concn. of dissolved oxygen, by partially linearize the non-linear relation between the air feed amount and the concn. of dissolved oxygen in an aeration tank to perform I-P control. CONSTITUTION:Sewage is flowed into an aeration tank 1 and stayed for a certain time before flowed out. A dissolved oxygen concn. detector 4 and a thermometer 5 are provided in the aeration tank 1 and an airflow meter 6 is provided to the air feed pipe of a blower in the emitting side thereof. Process mounts (x), theta, (u) detected by these measuring instruments are inputted to an electronic calculator 8 through an input apparatus 7 and operated according to the program preliminarily stored in said calculator 8 and an air feed amount objective value u* is calculated corresponding to an dissolved oxygen concn. objective value and outputted as operation order signals N*, alphaA*, betaB* of the blower through an output apparatus 9.
