Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent durability of a blanket out of a sheet width when printed with a hollow cylinder by providing a silicone rubber layer having a specific thickness on a base, mounting a plate material for the cylinder at a lower hollow plate cylinder of an offset rotary press, and printing. SOLUTION: As a base, preferably a metal plate, a plastic film, or particularly preferably a metal plate mainly containing an aluminum is used. Its thickness is 0.15 to 0.5 mm or preferably 0.24 to 0.3 mm. As a silicone rubber layer, its thickness is 0.5 to 50 μm, preferably 0.5 to 20 μm or more preferablly 0.5 to 10 μm. If the thickness is thinner than 0.5 μm, a trouble occurs in view of plate wear resistance and ink repellence, while, if it is thicker than 50 μm, it is disadvantageous in its economy. For example, in a double-sided four-color offset rotary press using a dampening water, when printed with four color upper cylinders and 3-0 color lower cylinders (when printed with hollow cylinders), it is printed by mounting the plate materials for hollow cylinders as plate cylinders (hollow cylinders) of non-printing color.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit good printing to be performed by an offset rotary press printer for lithographic plate by using a plate formed by bending it with a lithographic plate of a specific thickness by a bending machine for a plate bending machine for offset rotary press printer as a photo-sensitive resin relief printing plate. CONSTITUTION:In a letter set printing by an offset rotary press printer using a photo-sensitive resin relief printing plate with a steel plate having a tensile strength of 55kg/mm or more, an elongation rate of 10% or less, and a thickness of 0.03-0.12mm as a supporter, a plate formed by bending by a plate bending machine with a lithographic plate of a thickness of 0.1-0.8mm only by the plate bending metal 15 of the plate bending machine for offset rotary press printer or by the metal 15 and a clamp 13 is used. As the lithographic plate 24 used, one of a aluminium, steel, zinc, copper, or polyester film, etc., may be cited. Even when letter set printing is made by using the offset rotary press printer, no staining of printed matter by adherence of ink to the clamping portion occurs, and the letter set printing using photo-sensitive resin relief printing plate can thus be easily obtained by using offset rotary press printer using lithographic printing plate.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a permeable printing plate which can be easily made up by using an extremely small quantity of materials and can print continuously, and also a device for manufacturing a simple printing plate which needs no development step in a makeup process and is operated easily. SOLUTION: This manufacturing device for a simple printing plate with a light source for emitting heat rays manufactures a simple printing plate by superposing a copy film 21 on a polyolefin foam sheet 22 with 50-150 deg.C melt point containing a continuous cell and emitting heat rays from above a film 21 to form an image part 22A on the polyolefin foam sheet 22.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent curling and deterioration of ink receptivity by covering the surface of a printing resin plate with a thermoplastic resin film to insulate the surface from the external air. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the printing resin plate is covered with a thermoplastic resin film to insulator its surface from the external air. It is preferred for the thermoplastic resin film to satisfy the following requirements: Water absorptivity measured by the ASTM Testing Method ZO208 of /0.1mm/24hr; thickness of 5-200mum, preferably, 10-80mum; and elongation of 50-800%, preferably, 150-400%.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make possible a plate to be mounted and dismounted to and from a printing drum as easy as a lithoprinting plate with an offset printing machine for a conventional lithoprinting is used, by providing a plate material for a letter set printing having a whole thickness of less than 0.35mm with a specific supporting plate is used, and by making a bending angle of the plate of a plate bending machine smaller by a specified amount than a conventional angle. CONSTITUTION:A plate 11 bended by a plate bending machine in which an angle of a plate angle adjusting plate 16 on a holding side is set by 5-20 deg. smaller relative to a grooving angle 21 for a plate to be inserted groove at a holding section of a printing drum 6 of an offset rotary press using a light sensitive resin relief printing making an iron plate of a tensile strength of more than 55kg/mm , an elongation ratio of less than 10%, and a thickness of 0.03-0.14mm as a supporting body is used. In such a manner, a stain of the matter to be printed owing to a stick of an ink at a holding section is not generated, when a letter set printing is carried out with the offset rotary press is used, and the letter set printing using the photosensitive resin lithoprinting can be carried out easy with the offset rotary press using the conventional flat plate is used.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a simple printing plate having a simple operation without necessity of a developing step by selectively irradiating a surface of a polyolefin series foamed sheet having continuous bubbles with a heat wave and forming an image on the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin series foamed sheet having a low melting point of 50-150 deg.C and continuous bubbles is used. A surface of the sheet is covered directly with a mask film, selectively irradiated with a heat wave to form a foamed sheet part in which the wave is not absorbed and which is not varied and a sheet part in which the wave is absorbed to be melted so that the bubbles are collapsed, thereby obtaining a simple printing plate. Since the obtained plate is melted on the foamed surface having the continuous bubbles by heat (to form a non-image part), ink is not present on the surface. On the other hand, ink is present on the surface of the part which is not melted to form an image part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the decrease in adhesion power between the substrate and rubber layer, the deformation of drawn parts, etc. obviate the change in print resistance, and obtain the distinct printed matter by using a heating metal bar at the time of retouch-correcting the printing surface of the lithographic printing plate using a silicone rubber layer as an ink repulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:In the case of retouch-correcting the portions missing required places, particularly printing elements, characters, etc. in the lithographic printing plate comprising laminating a photo polymerizable adhesion layer 2 and a silicone rubber layer 3 on a substrate 1 and forming ink receptive parts 4, a metal bar 5 or the like comprising shaping the end of a precision soldering iron or the like to permit easy retouching is used and lines or spots are retoched by heating the bar 5 to 100 deg.C or more, preferably 300 deg.C or more. In this way, adverse influence to printing and the decrease in printing resistance owing to the deformation of the rotouched parts 6 or the decrease in adhesion power are prevented.
