Abstract: The precursor coating compositions contain water and at least one organic solvent and are particularly suitable for being admixed with at least one supercritical fluid used as a viscosity reduction diluent and this resultant liquid mixture of supercritical fluid and precursor coating composition is sprayed onto a substrate to be coated. Processes for spraying this precursor mixture are also disclosed.
