Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for securing a workpiece. SOLUTION: This fixture for securing the workpiece is provided with a basic part, a plurality of positioning parts for receiving the workpiece, a plurality of arms 109, 111 attached to the basic part in a pivot part, and a lever 151 for driving the arms 109, 111 for the workpiece. The arms 109, 111 arrange the workpiece W for the positioning parts by facing forward. The fixture is a part of an electric discharge machine, which is further provided with a tank and a holder holding an electrode in the tank. The lever 151 actuates toward a front part of the tank.
