    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, excellent in mechanical strength and suitably usable as a molded product such as a building material part by compounding a fly ash having a specified specific surface area with a polyamide resin in a specific proportion. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by compounding (A) 30-99 pts.wt. polyamide resin (preferably nylon 6, nylon 46, nylon 66, etc.), with (B) 70-1 pt.wt. fly ash having 1,000-8,000 cm /g specific surface area. The relative viscosity of the component A is preferably 1.5-5.0 value determined under conditions of 25 deg.C and 1g/dL concentration by using a 96% concentrated sulfuric acid.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a vessel highly stable in dimensions even in an atmosphere of high temperature and high humidity and to make it light in weight, strong and free from leakage of a liquid by a method wherein a threaded part for fitting a cover part is formed in the part of the opening and the whole or a part of the vessel is constituted of reinforced polyamide resin wherein phyllosilicate is dispersed uniformly at a molecular level. SOLUTION: In a vessel 1 of a correction liquid for erasing a letter, a threaded part 2 for fitting a cover part 4 for taking out the liquid is formed in the part of the opening and the whole or a part of the vessel is constituted of reinforced polyamide resin wherein phyllosilicate is dispersed uniformly at a molecular level. In other words, a multilayer material of each one sheet of the phyllosilicate or an average stratified body of five or less layers thereof is dispersed by 70% or above preferably in the polyamide resin without forming a mass. The phyllosilicate is contained by 0.01-10 wt.% preferably in the reinforced polyamide resin. As to the phyllosilicate, minerals of a swelling fluoromica isinglass series are suitable and, as for the polyamide resin, nylon 6 and nylon 66 can be used suitably, in particular.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in sliding characteristics, i.e., abrasive and frictional characteristics as well as mechanical properties, by including a composition obtained by homogenously dispersing a swellable fluorinated mica-based mineral in a polyamide-based resin and ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefin microparticles. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a polyamide-based resin composition obtained by homogenously dispersing (ii) 0.01-100 pts.wt. of a swellable fluorinated mica-based mineral in (1) 100 pts.wt. of a polyamide resin, and (B) ultrahigh molecular weight polyolefin microparticles. The component (ii) is obtained by mixing oxides, such as silicon oxide and magnesium oxide, with various fluorides, melting the mixture and conducting a crystal growth of the objective the fluorinated mica-based mineral during the cooling process. The component B consists of a polyethylene having a weight-average molecular weight of 10 -3×10 , preferably, in the form of minute powder having a bulk density of 0.94 g/cm or higher and an average particle diameter of 100 μm or less. SOLUTION: The whole or a part of a material constituting this binding band 1 comprises a resin composition obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a polyamide resin with 0.01-5 pts.wt. of a lubricant and 0.01-3 pts.wt. of a crystal nucleating agent. A resin prepared by blending a polyamide resin with nylon 66 or nylon 6 is used as the polyamide resin. The acid-modified elastomer is one prepd. by modifying a polyolefin formed from at leat one monomer selected from among ethylene, propylene, and butene with an unsatd. carboxylic acid or its deriv.; one prepd. by modifying an XYX block copolymer or an XY block copolymer (wherein X is a vinylarom. compd. polymer block, and Y is an olefin compd. polymer block) with an unsatd. carboxylic acid or its deriv.; or one comprising a mixture of the above-mentioned acid-modified elastomers.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which can be desirably used to give moldings excellent in mechanical strengths such as bending strength and compressive strength and useful for building members, especially segment bolt box covers by selecting a resin composition comprising a polyamide resin, fly ash, a flame retardant and a flame retardant aid, wherein the fly ash has a specified specific surface area. SOLUTION: There is provided a resin composition comprising 29-88 pts.wt. polyamide resin, 1-60 pts.wt. fly ash, 10-30 pts.wt. flame retardant and 1-10 pts.wt. flame retardant aid (the total amount of the composition is 100 pts.wt.), wherein the specific surface area of the fly ash is 1,000-8,000 cm /g. The polyamide resin is exemplified by a linear polyamide (polylactam) obtained by the ring opening polymerization of a cyclic lactam or a linear polyamide obtained by the polycondensation of e.g. an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or an aromatic dicarboxylic acid with a diamine. The amount of the fly ash added is 1-60 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. total composition. The flame retardant is particularly desirably a halogen-containing flame retardant, and the flame retardant aid is particularly desirably antimony trioxide.
