Abstract:
A composition comprising an aromatic co-polyester and poly(ethylene oxybenzoate), in which A. THE AROMATIC CO-POLYESTER IS A RESINOUS PRODUCT REPRESENTED BY THE FORMULA: WHEREIN X is -O-, -S-, -SO-, -SO2-, an alkylene group or an alkylidene group; R1, R2, R3, R4, R''1, R''2, R''3 and R''4, which may be the same or different, each is a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, a bromine atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms and n is a positive integer which provides a resinous product; B. THE POLY(ETHYLENE OXYBENZOATE) IS PRESENT IN AN AMOUNT OF FROM 0.1 TO 50 WEIGHT % BASED ON THE SUM OF THE WEIGHT OF THE AROMATIC CO-POLYESTER AND THE POLY(ETHYLENE OXYBENZOATE); AND C. THE
MOIETY IN THE ABOVE FORMULA IS A TEREPHTHALIC ACID UNIT OR AN ISOPHTHALIC ACID UNIT, AND IS PRESENT IN THE AROMATIC COPOLYESTER AT A MOLAR RATIO OF 9:1 TO 1:9, RESPECTIVELY, USEFUL AS A COMPOSITION FOR PRODUCING MOLDED ARTICLES HAVING IMPROVED HYDROLYSIS, CRACKING AND CRAZING RESISTANCE.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the yarn for artificial lawn, having a low shrinkage percentage in hot water, a good dimensional stability and a slight incidence ratio of wale streaks and useful for a tennis court, etc., by composing the whole, etc., of the yarn for artificial lawn of a reinforced polyamide resin containing a swellable fluormica-based mineral uniformly dispersed therein. SOLUTION: This yarn for artificial lawn is obtained by composing the whole or a part of the yarn therefor of a reinforced polyamide resin (e.g. nylon 6) containing preferably 0.01-10wt.% swellable fluormica-based mineral, represented by, e.g. the formula, αMF.β(aMgF2 .bMgO).γSiO2 M is sodium or lithium; 0.1
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an intake manifold high in lightweight properties, rigidity and heat resistance and excellent in the smoothness of an inner wall surface or the uniformity of wall thickness by using a resin compsn. consisting of a reinforced polyamide resin having a swellable fluorine mica type mineral uniformly dispersed therein and glass fibers. SOLUTION: A reinforced nylon 6 resin having a swellable fluorine mica type mineral uniformly dispersed therein is used as a raw material in an amt. of 75-90wt.% and a twin-screw extruder is used to obtain pellets of a resin compsn. containing 25-10wt.% of glass fibers. A tin-bismuth alloy is used to form a core by precise casting. Next, these pellets are subjected to injection molding to cover the core. This molded product including the core is subjected to induction heating to melt the tin-bismuth alloy to remove the core. The intake manifold obtained by this method is excellent in the smoothness of an inner wall surface or the uniformity of wall thickness.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a vessel highly stable in dimensions even in an atmosphere of high temperature and high humidity and to make it light in weight, strong and free from leakage of a liquid by a method wherein a threaded part for fitting a cover part is formed in the part of the opening and the whole or a part of the vessel is constituted of reinforced polyamide resin wherein phyllosilicate is dispersed uniformly at a molecular level. SOLUTION: In a vessel 1 of a correction liquid for erasing a letter, a threaded part 2 for fitting a cover part 4 for taking out the liquid is formed in the part of the opening and the whole or a part of the vessel is constituted of reinforced polyamide resin wherein phyllosilicate is dispersed uniformly at a molecular level. In other words, a multilayer material of each one sheet of the phyllosilicate or an average stratified body of five or less layers thereof is dispersed by 70% or above preferably in the polyamide resin without forming a mass. The phyllosilicate is contained by 0.01-10 wt.% preferably in the reinforced polyamide resin. As to the phyllosilicate, minerals of a swelling fluoromica isinglass series are suitable and, as for the polyamide resin, nylon 6 and nylon 66 can be used suitably, in particular.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a valve protecting cap for a polyamide resin-make high pressure gas vessel having light weight, excellent in workability, without causing corrosion, usable for a long period, without generating scuffing in a thread ridge of a steel-made neck ring of the high pressure vessel, closely fixable and with no excessive force required when mounted/demounted. CONSTITUTION: In an internal circumferential surface of a lower end part in a hanging bell-shaped cap 1 formed by modified polyamide resin composed of polyamide resin and polyolefine or polyolefine elastomer to open a lower end and to close an upper end, a non-threaded part 2 and a threaded part 3 of diameter smaller than this non-threaded part are provided successively in this order from a lower end side.
