Abstract: Provided here are systems and method for non-intrusive authentication of a user. Such systems and methods may include in an embodiment a waveform generator to generate a message, encrypt the message, and transmit the encrypted message to one or more transmitters. The system may include a decryption engine to receive a bone conduction signal from one or more receivers, process the bone conduction signal, decrypt the processed bone conduction signal, and separate a bone conduction token portion from the decrypted bone conduction signal. The system may include an authentication engine to analyze the bone conduction signal, authenticate a user for the operation detected based on a comparison of the analyzed bone conduction signal and the pilot portion of the message exceeding a preselected threshold, and verify bone conduction signal authenticity via the bone conduction token portion and the token portion.

Abstract: A method for detecting and locating a carbon dioxide leak in a submarine environment includes operating autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) in the submarine environment, where the operating includes obtaining, with each AUV of the AUVs, measurements of an attribute indicative of carbon dioxide, communicating, while operating the AUVs, the measurements from the each AUV to other AUVs of the AUVs, mapping, while operating the autonomous AUVs, carbon dioxide concentration in the submarine environment, and guiding the AUVs toward a highest concentration of the carbon dioxide concentration based on the mapping.

In embodiments, the method may include, in response to reception of an audio signal from a user, determining, via a smart device and/or authentication circuitry, whether a corresponding bone conduction signal is received from one of one or more separate wearable devices. The method may include, in response to determination that the corresponding bone conduction signal is received: determining, via the smart device and/or authentication circuitry, whether the audio signal and corresponding conduction signal are consistent. The method may include, in response to a determination that the audio signal and corresponding conduction signal are consistent: verifying, via the smart device, the audio signal; verifying, via the smart device, the corresponding bone conduction signal; and, in response to verification of the audio signal and the corresponding bone conduction signal, authenticating a user.
