Abstract:
Mycoplasma bovis antigens for use in subunit vaccine compositions to elicit immune responses against M. bovis , polynucleotides encoding therefor, and use of said compositions to prevent Mycoplasma bovis infections.
Abstract:
Immunogenic proteins comprising Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides and M. mycoides subsp. capri proteins, encoding polynucleotides, a method for producing said proteins, and use of compositions to prevent M. mycoides subsp. mycoides infections are disclosed.
Abstract:
Prion peptides comprising prion epitopes and fusions thereof, that display enhanced immunogenicity are described. Also described are methods of treating and diagnosing prion disease.
Abstract:
Methods and compositions for enhancing an immune response to a selected antigen are described. The methods are useful for the treatment and prevention of microbial infections, such as infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. The methods and compositions include host defense peptides, polyphosphazenes and immunostimulatory sequences to enhance the immune response to a coadministered antigen.
Abstract:
Mycobacterial antigens, such as MAP and M. bovis antigens, are described. The antigens can be used in subunit compositions to elicit immune responses in order to prevent and/or control mycobacterial infections, as well as in diagnostics in order to detect mammals infected with mycobacteria.
Abstract:
Immunogens, compositions and methods for treating, preventing and/or diagnosing PEDV infection in pigs are disclosed. The compositions and methods use inactivated or attenuated virus-containing vaccines, or subunit vaccines, including immunogens and mixtures of immunogens derived from PEDV isolates.
Abstract:
Prion peptides comprising prion epitopes and fusions thereof, that display enhanced immunogenicity are described. Also described are methods of treating and diagnosing prion disease.
Abstract:
Vaccine compositions comprising isolated Salmonella spp. cell culture supernatant for the prevention and treatment of Salmonella spp. infection are provided. The culture supernatant is produced under Salmonella pathogenicity island 2 (SPI-2) inducing conditions by incubating Salmonella spp. cells in a low phosphate and low magnesium medium (LPM). Methods for reducing colonization and shedding of Salmonella spp. in a subject by administration of the vaccine compositions are also provided.
