Abstract: A method of handling a component of a wind turbine includes suspending the component in a suspended orientation via a first lifting arrangement, recording a position of the first lifting arrangement relative to the component when the component is in the suspended orientation, and installing the component on the wind turbine. The method may further include recalling the recorded position, arranging a second lifting arrangement at the recorded position relative to the component, dismantling the component from the wind turbine, and suspending the component in the suspended orientation via the second lifting arrangement.
