Abstract:
A tray for holding a media roll being fed to a paper path of a copier/printer including a plurality of wall defining a chamber (105), the chamber including: an open portion thereof for receiving the print media roll (14C); a cover (110) for opening and closing the open portion of the chamber, a first seal (112) associated with the chamber and cover, for preventing air from exiting or entering when the cover is closed, a sheet slot defined in one of the plurality of walls, for feeding print media therethrough to the paper path of the copier/printer; and a second seal, associated with the sheet slot, for preventing air from exiting or entering the chamber as roll media is fed.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed chamber which can maintain the inside thereof in an optimum humidity condition. SOLUTION: A tray of the present invention includes a plurality of walls for demarcating a chamber, and the chamber comprises an open part for receiving a media roll, a cover for opening/closing the open part of the chamber, a first seal relating to the chamber and the cover in order to interrupt the movement of air when the cover is opened, a sheet slot demarcated in one of the plurality of walls in order to feed the media in a paper passage in a penetrating manner, and a second seal relating to the sheet slot for interrupting the movement of air to/from the chamber feeding the media.
