Abstract:
An ink-jet printhead accepts a series of digital addresses as image data. Each digital address causes an individual ejector in the printhead having the particular address to be activated. The frequency of operation of the printhead can be directly related to the frequency at which addresses are submitted to the printhead. A scheduler polls image data for spot placements which require simultaneous activation of a plurality of ejectors in a set of interdependent ejectors, and then reschedules the activation of ejectors to avoid conflicts.
Abstract:
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for ejecting a fluid of an ink jet printer. SOLUTION: The printing method uses the fluid jet printer having a printhead having a fluid ejection surface facing a recording medium. The fluid ejection surface has at least one fluid ejector arranged thereon. The method includes: (a) moving at least one of the fluid ejector and the recording medium such that the recording medium moves relative to the fluid ejector along a fast scan direction at a velocity (V m ), and (b), when the movement is carried out, selectively ejecting fluid from the fluid ejector toward the recording medium. (i) A main droplet is formed to have a first velocity (V d ) in a first direction, and (ii) a satellite droplet is formed to have a second velocity (v s ) in a second direction that forms an angle (θ) with respect to the first direction. θ substantially satisfies the equation, tanθ=v m [1/(v s cosθ)-1/v d ], wherein tan is a tangent function of the triangular method, and cos is a cosine function of the triangular method. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ink injection region of a thermal inkjet print head, and the thermal inkjet print head. SOLUTION: The thermal print head 100 includes walls 120 which have thin walls 140 blocking one end of channels and has openings to manifolds 150 displaced on the opposite end of the channel, and are formed into a lithographic structure for producing the channels 130. Actuators 160 are arranged in the channels 130 from the inlets of the manifolds 150 to the closing ends of the channels 130. By dicing upper and lower two substrates of a polymer layer, the thin walls 140 are exposed to external environment, protecting the channels 130 from a residue or other stains. Nozzles are formed on the thin walls 140 by laser abrasion to keep the length of liquid constant, even if the dicing line 170 is attached/detached relative to the thin walls 140. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print bead assembly or a cartridge suitable for recording or printing a high quality graphic image and a photographic quality image. SOLUTION: An ink jet printer 10 comprises a frame 11, a recording medium operating assembly attached to the frame 11, a printing assembly 100 having liquid ink supply sources for colors of black, magenta, cyan and yellow, and a print head assembly 102 attached to the frame 11. The print head assembly 102 consists of (i) a first print head 150 that has a group of nozzles having first equal sizes and records a high quality graphic image on a recording medium and (ii) a second print head 250 haying print head segments for liquid inks of colors of black, magenta, yellow cyan. Each of the print head segments has a first set of nozzles having first equal sizes and a second set of nozzles having sizes different from the first equal sizes and records a photographic quality image on the recording medium.
