Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process in which the color characteristics of the obtd. developed color image include a substantially complete Pantone (R) color space. SOLUTION: The method for producing the toner compsn. includes a process to mix a toner in a fluidized bed, a process to electrostatically deposit the obtd. toner mixture on a donor roll, a process to charge the obtd. toner layer on the donor roll with ions, and a process to develop a latent image using the obtd. charge toner layer on the donor roll member. The color characteristics of the developed color image thus obtd. includes a substantially complete Pantone color space.
