Abstract:
A product containing a boron compound for use in obesity treatment. By means of the present invention, a product can be obtained for obesity treatment which is not toxic to the other tissues and organs of the body. In obtaining the said product, sodium pentaborate pentahydrate, which is a poloxamer derivative, are used.
Abstract:
An antimicrobial (anticandidal, antibacterial, antifungal) and antiviral composition which repels insects such as flies, mosquitoes and ticks. The composition includes poloxamer, boron compound, ethyl butyl acetylaminopropionate and preferably hydrogen peroxide. The present composition is a composition which can be applied in different forms via oral, nasal, ophthalmic, otic, local, ventricle, vaginal, rectal, dermal, intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous and intradermal route.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an anti-aging antimicrobial wound healing polymer based hydrogel. In the study of the present invention, a wound healing gel formulation is developed by combining poloxamer polymers and boron component at adequate concentrations in a carbopol based gel. The said gel exhibits fast action on the damaged area and prevents scar formation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a gelatin or pectin based antimicrobial surface coating material. In the present invention, boron compounds are mixed with gelatin or pectin and a surface coating material in the form of a film is obtained. The said coating material can be used in all packaging industry requiring hygiene particularly in food industry. The invention enables packages to be antifungal, anticandidal and antibacterial.
Abstract:
A production of a drug, wherein the drug is specific for SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cancer by loading caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) to a plurality of microvesicles that a specialized skin cell leaves into a nutrient solution. The objective of the present invention is to provide a cell-specific targeted vesicle development by loading the CAPE to the plurality of microvesicles obtained as a result of culturing and subsequent specialization of a plurality of tissue cells; and to use the CAPE at lower concentrations compared to a state of the art applications to minimize a toxicity of the CAPE to both a plurality of cells other than a plurality of targeted cells and a body.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an antiviral gel combination. The said gel is composed of a boron compound, and the poloxamer and chlorhexidine compounds; and the gel obtained with the present invention demonstrates high activity on Herpes Simplex Type 1 Virus (HSV).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a chemotherapeutic agent comprising a combination of alexidine dihydrochloride and sodium pentaborate pentahydrate. The chemotherapeutic agent includes 2.9 mg alexidine dihydrochloride compound and 2.5 mg sodium pentaborate pentahydrate compound, and is obtained by adding 0.5 ml dimethylsulfoxide compound into the alexidine dihydrochloride compound. Upon injecting them to the media containing healthy cells and cancer cells, their effects on cell viability were observed. In accordance with the obtained results; it was observed that when alexidine dihydrochloride solution at concentrations not harming healthy cells is combined with sodium pentaborate pentahydrate, pancreatic cancer cell viability decreased 10% more compared to use of alexidine dihydrochloride alone, and it was realized that this combination can be used as a chemotherapeutic agent for treatment of pancreatic cancer.
Abstract:
A product containing plant derived exosome that may be used in cancer treatment and wound healing. The product enables to provide a low-cost product, which does not cause toxic effects in human body, does not cause damage in the healthy cells during the course of the cancer treatment, does not pose any infection risk since it does not require any procedure such as radiotherapy or surgery, and the side effects occurring in chemotherapy treatment are not experienced. Wheatgrass, garlic and ginger can be used alone or in combination in the product as the plant source.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to hygienic products such as sanitary pads and tampons, patient/adult diapers and baby diapers which are made antimicrobial. In the present invention, a mixture of glucopon, chlorhexidine gluconate and triclosan is obtained from the boron compounds called sodium borate, zinc borate, sodium perborate tetrahydrate, borax pentahydrate and disodium octaborate tetrahydrate; and this mixture provides antifungal, anticandidal, antibacterial and antiviral properties to the woven or non-woven textile products and hygienic products. Additionally, the said hygienic products are made hydrophilic by means of the invention.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to development of paint, plaster, cement and plastic construction materials containing silver, zinc and copper metal ion-charged zeolite ( 1/10 w/w). The new construction materials are antimicrobial and prevent microorganism growth and reproduction of fungi, yeasts and bacteria. The product, made from construction materials containing metallic ion-exchanged zeolite, provides hygiene by preventing microbial contamination in areas and surfaces for a long time. Furthermore, lifespan of the materials produced with this technology is longer since they will be protected from biological deterioration, corrosion and decays.
