Abstract:
A clog-resistant injector spray nozzle (200) allows relatively unobstrusive insertion through a small access aperture (120) into existing ductwork (110) in occupied buildings for atomized particulate sealing of a ductwork. The spray nozzle (200) comprises an easily cleaned and easily replaced straight liquid tube(365) whose liquid contents are principally propelled by a heated propellant gas, such as heated air. Heat transfer is minimized from the heated propellant gas to the liquid tube (365) until they both exit the injector (200), thereby greatly reducing the likelihood of nozzle clogging. A method of duct sealing using particles driven by heated propellant gas is described, whereby duct-sealing operations become both faster, and commercially practicable in inhabited commercial and residential buildings.
Abstract:
Foam dispenser systems, pumps and refill units are disclosed herein. A refill unit for refilling a foam dispenser system comprises a container for holding a supply of foamable liquid and a foam pump connected to the container. The pump incorporates a simple and inexpensive valve arrangement to move liquid through the pump and to create the foam. For example, a liquid foam pump may include a housing and a valve stem that moves in two directions. The valve stem has an inlet liquid pathway and an outlet liquid pathway to convey liquid to a mixing. In addition, a moveable valve body is movable by the valve stem in a first direction to move the valve body to the first position to open a liquid inlet pathway, and moveable in a second direction to move the valve body to the second position to open the outlet liquid pathway.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A nozzle device for spraying fluid includes a body, two or more rotational nozzles, and a control member. The body includes a supply inlet that receives supply of fluid and two or more spray holes that communicate with the supply inlet and are open on a fluid spraying side. The rotational nozzles are arranged in the body in correspondence with the two or more spray holes, the rotational nozzles being retained in the body in a rotatable manner. The control member controls rotation of the rotational nozzles. Each rotational nozzle has a nozzle hole, through which fluid flowing into the corresponding spray hole of the body is sprayed toward a spraying side of the nozzle device. Each rotational nozzle includes a tip portion on the spraying side in which an axis of the nozzle hole is tilted relative to a rotation axis of the rotational nozzle.
