Abstract:
In a receive node (230) of a wireless network (100), an iterative multi- user multi-stage interference cancellation receiver (400, 800, 1100) is used. After each stage of interference cancellation, interference characteristics change. An adaptive finger placement strategy is used in which after each stage of interference cancellation, finger delays and combining weights of the receiver (400, 800, 1100) are adapted to reflect the changed interference characteristics.
Abstract:
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, a method that determines at least one threshold for detecting signal interference in a first plurality of segments occurring in a first radio frequency spectrum of a first wireless communication system, detecting a pattern of recurrence over time of signal interference in a segment of the first plurality of resource blocks according to the at least one threshold, and performing one or more mitigation steps to mitigate the signal interference without filtering the signal interference where the one or more mitigation steps include at least one of transmitting signals out of phase from the signal interference, adjusting transmit power, increasing power in a resource block of a long term evolution communication session, performing beam steering, or changing time parameters for the resource block without changing to a new resource block. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention is designed to reduce the decrease of spectral efficiency even when repetitious transmission is applied to communication by user terminals, in which the band to use is limited to a partial narrow band in a system band. According to one aspect of the present invention, a user terminal, in which the band to use is limited to partial narrow bands in a system band, has a receiving section that receives information related to spreading codes, a generation section that generates uplink signals, and a transmission section that repeats transmitting uplink signals in a plurality of subframes, and the generation section applies a predetermined spreading code to an uplink signal that is transmitted in part or all of the plurality of subframes, based on the information related to spreading codes.
Abstract:
The embodiment of the invention discloses a channel estimation method for a TD-SCDMA system. The channel estimation method comprises steps of: obtaining a coarse channel estimation of a channel l of an intra-frequency cell set by a single cell channel estimation algorithm; performing an interference cancellation on the coarse channel estimation to obtain a channel estimation; determining a channel environment according to the channel estimation; and determining a stop strategy for the interference cancellation according to the channel environment and controlling performing the interference cancellation according to the stop strategy. The embodiment of the invention also discloses a channel estimation apparatus for a TD-SCDMA system, a communication device and a computer program executing the channel estimation method.
