Abstract:
Se describe un sistema acuoso que contiene sales formadoras de incrustacion que incluye tanto carbonato de calcio como fosfato de calcio, caracterizado por un alto pH y altas concentraciones de calcita, que además contiene una cantidad efectiva sinergística de una combinacion que comprende (A) un fosfonato de poliéter-poliamino-metileno, (B) un terpolímero que comprende los monomeros de ácido acrílico, éter sulfofenometalílico y ácido maleico, y (C) un ácido hidroxifosfonoacético. También se provee un método para inhibir la formacion, deposicion y adherencia de tales sales formadoras de incrustacion en el sistema acuoso, empleando la combinacion sinergística.

Una composicion que contiene un polímero orgánico anionico, y un ácido organofosfonico, en donde estos tres componentes de la composicion están presentes en una cantidad combinada sinergísticamente efectiva para controlar la formacion de incrustaciones inorgánicas en un sistema acuoso. También se proporciona un método para controlar la formacion de incrustaciones inorgánicas en superficies en un sistema acuoso. El sistema acuoso esta en contacto con una composicion que comprende un polímero orgánico anionico, un polifosfato y un ácido organofosfonico. Estos tres componentes están presentes en una cantidad efectiva combinada para controlar la formacion de incrustaciones inorgánicas en el sistema acuoso.
Abstract:
In a house water decalcifying process, a sufficient number of seed crystals is at first generated in the water to be decalcified, before the water is heated while flowing through a thermal section, and the carbonates generated in the thermal section are made to agglomerate into crystal aggregates around the seed crystals. The crystal aggregates are then removed by means of a filter or another separating system. The seed crystals are generated for example by a preliminary physical treatment or are added as lime particles if the water to be decalcified does not contain already a sufficient number of seed crystals. Also disclosed is a device for carrying out the process.

A composition containing an anionic organic polymer, a polyphosphate, and an organophosphonic acid, where these three components of the composition are present in a combined amount synergistically effective for controlling the formation of inorganic scales in an aqueous system. Also provided is a method for controlling the formation of inorganic scales on surfaces in an aqueous system. The aqueous system is contacted with a composition comprising an anionic organic polymer, a polyphosphate, and an organophosphonic acid. These three components are present in a combined amount synergistically effective for controlling the formation of inorganic scales in the aqueous system.

A method for continuously decarbonating and deliming untreated pH-neutral calcareous water, including a first step in which pressurised water to be treated is passed through a catalytic material consisting of organometallic granules enclosed in a first cartridge, in order to reduce the carbonates to carbon dioxide and flocculate the calcareous salts; and a second step in which the carbon dioxide/decarbonated water mixture is fed into a second filtering cartridge containing oxygenated activated charcoal in order to reprecipitate the carbon dioxide to carbonate and provide purified water.
