    Abstract: The invention discloses a heat dissipation assisting apparatus for lamp (20) to form a flow channel space (30) between the heat dissipation lamp holder (24) and the shell (28). When the lamp is in operation, heat generated by the lamp is assimilated by the heat dissipation lamp holder (24), and gas in the flow channel space (30) is heated by the heat assimilated to the heat dissipation lamp holder. Thus, the gas heated would flow in the flow channel space, and form convection with gas in the outside environment to dissipate heat outside, and heat insulation of the shell may prevent a user from being burned. The heat dissipation lamp holder and the shell can be detachable to allow convenient cleaning of dust in the space therebetween, thus preventing from deterioration of heat dissipation efficiency.

    Abstract: An electrical circuit provides for equal power consumption by the included load elements when selectively energized by independent power sources of differing but preselected voltages, through control of the path of current flow through the load elements by rectifiers. The rectifiers are disposed to permit current flow through the load elements in series when a high voltage source energizes the circuit through one pair of terminals and, without alteration of the circuit, in parallel through the load elements when a low voltage source energizes the circuit through another pair of terminals.

    Abstract: 1304711 Electric control systems INDUSTRIAL INSTRUMENTS Ltd 19 April 1971 [16 April 1970] 18231/70 Heading G3R A power supply including a pair of power sources such as rectifier units 1, 2 having a common output voltage has a current balancing circuit 3 connected to each of the sources and operative whenever a difference exists between the currents delivered by the two sources, when supplying a common load, to increase the output voltage of the source delivering the lower current and to simultaneously decrease the output voltage of the source delivering the higher current whereby the said currents are maintained substantially equal. The balancing circuit 3 is a differential amplifier having inputs connected to provide voltages across smoothing capacitors C1, C2 proportional to the currents in the respective rectifier units 1, 2. If these currents are unbalanced one of the transistors VT1 or VT2 will be turned on more than the other to produce voltage changes at A and B which act to decrease the output voltage of the rectifier unit producing the higher current and increase the output voltage of the rectifier unit producing the lower current. The balancing circuit will continue to operate until the currents are equal.

    Abstract: According to one aspect of the invention, a UPS includes an input configured to be coupled to an AC power source, a DC power source, an output configured to receive power from at least one of the AC power source and the DC power source, a first switched receptacle outlet coupled to the output and configured to be coupled to a first electrical load and a second receptacle outlet coupled to the output and configured to be coupled to a second electrical load. According to some embodiments, the UPS also includes a control unit configurable to provide a first configuration associated with the first switched receptacle outlet, where the first configuration is employed by the control unit to control a connection of the first switched receptacle outlet to the output independent of the second receptacle outlet.
