Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for deforming a curved surface using a three-dimensional target curve. The curved surface deformation apparatus of the present invention includes object curved surface selection means, sample vertex extraction means, basis function calculation means, target curve input means, control point variation calculation means, and object curved surface deformation means. The object curved surface selection means selects all or part of the curved surface of the NURBS model. The sample vertex extraction means extracts a plurality of vertexes from the object curved surface. The basis function calculation means calculates a basis function of the object curved surface. The target curve input means inputs a target curve, composed of a plurality of target. The target curve projection means projects the target curve onto the object curved surface. The control point variation calculation means individually interpolates variation values ranging from projection points of the object curved surface corresponding to the target points, calculates variation values of sample vertexes, and calculates variations of control points using the calculated variation values and a pseudo-inverse matrix of the basis function. The object curved surface deformation means deforms the object curved surface on the basis of the calculated variations of the control points.
Abstract:
In a semiconductor integrated circuit, an internal passive circuit element value, such as a resistance, is permanently configured to a desired value by selectively fusing one or more fusing elements in response to corresponding input signals. An internal monitor circuit determines whether or not all of the requested fusing operations were successfully completed and, if so, permanently inhibits any further fusing operations. The circuit has the advantage of obviating external measurement of the adjusted circuit element value and further obviates the need for application of a lock input signal to inhibit further fusing operations. Accordingly, testing is simplified and the number of external pins is reduced.
Abstract:
Provided are novel methods of fabricating block copolymer thin film structures that allow control over both the lateral structure and vertical orientation of the thin films. In some embodiments, the methods involve directing the assembly of a block copolymer thin film between a chemically patterned surface and a second surface such that the thin film includes domains that are oriented perpendicularly through the thickness of the thin film. In certain embodiments, the second surface can be preferential at least one block of the block copolymer. In certain embodiments, the second surface can be a homopolymer. Also provided are thin film block copolymer structures having perpendicular orientations through the thickness of the thin films. The methods and structures may include block copolymers having large interaction parameters (χ's) and small domain sizes.

Abstract:
An FM detecting circuit using phase locked loop (PLL) is disclosed. A reference voltage unit generates a reference voltage. A phase detector detects a phase difference between an FM signal and another frequency signal. A low-pass filter receives the output signal from the phase detector, and outputs a detected signal by passing only low frequency signals. A DC component detector receives the output signal from the low-pass filter, and detects a DC component. A voltage controlled amplifier receives the reference voltage and the voltage output from the DC component detector, and outputs a constant level voltage by controlling a gain based upon the difference between the two received voltages.
