Abstract: Stent delivery system having a contracted delivery configuration and an expanded deployed configuration is provided. The stent delivery system includes a stent having a plurality of expandable elements and a plurality of interstices disposed between adjacent expandable elements, and a delivery catheter having an inflatable balloon including creases extending non-uniformly within the interstices of the stent in the contracted delivery configuration. Each crease defines a maximum radial height within a corresponding interstice, and the maximum radial heights of the creases vary. A method for stenting at a target site within a patient's vessel including providing a stent delivery system is also provided.

The programming code is configured to spin the high-speed reagent bottle spinning device to spin the at least one reagent bottle to remove microparticles from a bottom surface of a septum of the at least one reagent bottle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to closing an opening within a subcutaneous bodily vessel by using a spiral closure device to engage tissue around the opening. The spiral closure device is adapted to be threaded into the vessel wall surrounding the opening in the bodily vessel. A deployment mechanism may be used to rotate the spiral closure device. As the deployment mechanism is rotated the spiral closure device is rotated such that a tip of the spiral closure device engages the vessel wall around the opening in the bodily vessel. Continued rotation of the spiral closure device threads the closure device through the tissue around the opening. The closure device may have a tapered configuration in which the distal end is larger than the proximal end. As the distal end is threaded through the vessel wall, the narrowing closure device pulls the vessel wall tissue together, thereby effectively closing the opening.

In certain embodiments, the combination of beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate, arginine, and glutamine are orally administered via a nutritional composition.

Abstract: A method for separating a biological conjugate from an aggregate. The molecular weight of the biological conjugate ranges from about 10 kDa to about 1000 kDa. In one embodiment, the method comprises the steps of: (e) providing a mixture comprising the biological conjugate and the aggregate, wherein the biological conjugate has a molecular weight of from about 10 kDa to about 1000 kDa; (f) providing a chromatography column containing a gel, wherein the gel comprises at least one polysaccharide; (g) introducing the mixture of step (a) into the chromatography column; (h) recovering the biological conjugate from the column.
