Abstract: Mobile communication systems and base station control apparatuses are provided, by which a spectral efficiency can be improved while preventing interference between a terrestrial cellular mobile communication system and a satellite mobile communication system, and mobile communication services using mobile station apparatuses can be provided more surely in an emergent condition in which a failure occurs in a part of terrestrial cellular base stations. A same frequency band is used for radio communications between a mobile station apparatus 10 and each of terrestrial cellular base stations 20 and a communication relay apparatus 41 of artificial satellite 40. A radio resource used in the terrestrial cellular base stations 20 and a radio resource used in a satellite base station 30 in a common area where the terrestrial cellular mobile communication system and the satellite mobile communication system are available are allocated so as not to overlap with each other, and the radio resource allocated for the satellite base station is increased in the emergent condition in which a failure occurs in a part of the terrestrial cellular base stations so as to be more than that in a normal condition.

Abstract: A relay apparatus is provided which is capable of properly executing beamforming for radio communication from the relay apparatus to a donor base station, while inhibiting occurrence of beam interference in its surrounding area as much as possible. A relay apparatus 20 includes: an amplitude and phase measurement unit 25 that measures an amplitude and phase of radio communication from a donor base station 30 to the relay apparatus 20; a beam adjuster 27 that performs beamforming by adjusting a combination of a plurality of antennas; and a base station judgment unit 29 that judges base stations; wherein the adjustment for the beamforming is made so that a relatively strong beam is directed towards the donor base station 30 and a relatively weak beam is directed towards base stations other than the donor base station 30.

Abstract: Methods and systems of measuring communication quality in a communication via a mobile communication network are provided. A connection status of a communication terminal apparatus to a mobile communication network is confirmed when a timing of transmitting a measurement data of the communication terminal apparatus side from the communication terminal apparatus to a server comes. The measurement data is transmitted from the communication apparatus to the server when determining that it is a status capable of transceiving the measurement data, based on the confirmation result of connection status, and the measurement data is not transmitted from the communication terminal apparatus to the server when determining it is not a status capable of transceiving the measurement data. A communication quality in the communication via the mobile communication network is measured based on the measurement data received by the server from the communication terminal apparatus.

Abstract: A mobile object communication system is configured with the assumption that a base station is fixed. Therefore, signal quality becomes unstable if the base station moves freely. Provided is a control apparatus controlling a relay apparatus that is mounted in a mobile object and relays communication between a base station and a communication terminal, including a mobile object information acquiring section that acquires mobile object information indicating a state of the mobile object and a control section that controls the relay apparatus based on the mobile object information. If the movement speed of the mobile object is judged to be less than a predetermined value, the control section may generate a relay control signal indicating that a relay function of the relay apparatus is to be activated.

Abstract: Provided is a communication system capable of highly confidential and highly secure communication between an access point (AP) apparatus and a communication terminal even when constructing an open network environment of wireless connection. The communication system comprises an AP apparatus that uses radio waves in the terahertz band, a base station of a mobile communication network, and a server. When a connection request is made from the communication terminal to the AP apparatus, and when information of the connection request is received from the communication terminal via the base station, the server issues a common encryption key used for communication between the AP apparatus and the communication terminal, transmits the common encryption key to the communication terminal via the base station, and transmits the common encryption key to the communication terminal via the mobile communication network or another communication network. Each of the AP apparatus and the communication terminal receives the common encryption key from the server, and starts communication using the common encryption key.
