Abstract:
An apparatus, for a thermal vacuum therapy by using a suction cup on a skin of a patient, includes a heating unit disposed in the suction cup. The heating unit includes a heat core made of high heat conductive material and a heat retention sleeve made of low heat conductive material, wherein the heat core is wrapped by the heat retention sleeve and is arranged in such a manner that after the heat core rapidly stores heat energy, the heat retention sleeve is adapted for keeping the heat energy at the heat core so as to enable the heat core being gradually released heat within the suction cup during cupping treatment.
Abstract:
A cushion for a patient interface includes two or more bladders arranged in concentric relation. Each of the bladders includes a face-contacting portion adapted to engage the patient's face, and each of the bladders is adapted to be pressurized independently from one another. At least one of the bladders is an active bladder that is pressurized to at least a sealing pressure to form a continuous seal with the patient's face in use.
Abstract:
A hot stone therapy and acupressure apparatus comprising a rod having an outer diameter, a first end, a second end and a middle section, at least one stone removably mounted on the rod, wherein each stone is shaped as a hollow cylinder defining an interior surface and an exterior surface, with the interior surface having a diameter that is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the rod wherein each stone is independently axially movable and positionable along the middle section of the rod, the first end and said second end portions of the rod extending beyond the at least one stone thereby forming a pair of handles for facilitating gripping the rod and positioning the apparatus across a person's body, and at least one acupressure pin removably mounted to the rod for positioning, removing and replacing the at least one stone and for applying acupressure to said person's body.
Abstract:
“Nicy Migraine Hugger”, will help assist the many millions of people, who suffer from pains, associated with headaches and migraines, until they are able to reach a more permanent solution. The hugger's pressure and coolness, works together to reach the main nerve points of the head, where the pain from headaches and migraines are. It fits nicely around the whole hairline, and will fit under or on top of the hair. The hugger is comfortable, because it is supported by four pouches, located under the flexible liner. The liner can be bended, which makes it possible for it to be turned into many directions. Since this product is flexible, it will package easily, in addition, it weighs only a few ounces, therefore making is less expensive to ship. The total expenses to make this hugger is a comparable advantage, because the average consumer will benefit as they will be able to afford to own one.
Abstract:
A device and method for applying compressive hot or cold therapy to a patient's body, including a handle and a frame connected to and extending from the handle. The frame includes two spaced apart support arms, the support arms each having an opening such that the openings in the support arms are collinear with one another. A roller having a central axis and a reservoir within its interior for retaining a thermal medium, the roller having a non-uniform cross-section along its length defining a thermally conductive external surface for transferring thermal energy from the thermal medium to the patient's body. At least one elongated member is operatively connected to the roller and extends longitudinally along the central axis beyond the periphery of the roller. The elongated member is received within the collinear openings of the spaced apart support arms to releasably and rotatably connect the roller to the frame.
Abstract:
The following description relates generally to self-heated consumer spa products heated by means of a prolonged exothermic chemical reaction for various therapeutic and/or spa applications for applying heat to portions of a person's body.
Abstract:
The object of the invention relates to a dildo for sexual stimulation, comprising a tubular body (1) with a hollow structure made of a smooth material, such as silicone or rubber, having a shape and size similar to a penis, filled with a non-Newtonian fluid (2), the viscosity of which increases as the tension gradient applied thereto increases.
Abstract:
In therapeutic apparatus, the combination comprising an adjustable cradle pressure exerting therapeutic cushion, a flexible sheath housing a cushion, an elongated support operatively connected to a sheath for maneuvering a sheath and cushion into selected position or positions for transmitting pressure between a person and a surface onto which a person's body weight is imposed via a cushion and sheath.
Abstract:
A sex enhancer is a flexible and deformable fluid-filled enclosure with a smooth exterior surface having a rounded shape. The sex enhancer is heated and inserted into the vagina before sexual intercourse. During sexual intercourse, the penis pushes the sex enhancer against the cervix to provide enhanced pleasure to the woman without detracting from the pleasure of the man.
Abstract:
Apparatus for automatic delivery of chest compressions and ventilation to a patient, the apparatus including: a chest compressing device configured to deliver compression phases during which pressure is applied to compress the chest and decompression phases during which approximately zero pressure is applied to the chest a ventilator configured to deliver positive, negative, or approximately zero pressure to the airway; control circuitry and processor, wherein the circuitry and processor are configured to cause the chest compressing device to repeatedly deliver a set containing a plurality of systolic flow cycles, each systolic flow cycle comprising a systolic decompression phase and a systolic compression phase, and at least one diastolic flow cycle interspersed between sets of systolic flow cycles, each diastolic flow cycle comprising a diastolic decompression phase and a diastolic compression phase, wherein the diastolic decompression phase is substantially longer than the systolic decompression phase.
