Abstract: The present invention provides an image sensor, including: a sensor array layer including a plurality of normal sensor units and a pair of autofocus sensor units; a plurality of color filter units disposed on the sensor array layer to cover the plurality of normal sensor units; a pair of IR-pass filter units disposed on the sensor array layer to respectively cover the pair of autofocus sensor units; a micro-lens layer including a plurality of micro-lenses disposed on the color filter units and the IR-pass filter units, wherein one of the pair of autofocus sensor units detects infrared light came from a first side, and the other of the pair of autofocus sensor units detects infrared light came from a second side opposite to the first side to perform a phase detection autofocus function.

Abstract: An array imaging module includes a molded photosensitive assembly which includes a supporting member, at least a circuit board, at least two photosensitive units, at least two lead wires, and a mold sealer. The photosensitive units are coupled at the chip coupling area of the circuit board. The lead wires are electrically connected the photosensitive units at the chip coupling area of the circuit board. The mold sealer includes a main mold body and has two optical windows. When the main mold body is formed, the lead wires, the circuit board and the photosensitive units are sealed and molded by the main mold body of the mold sealer, such that after the main mold body is formed, the main mold body and at least a portion of the circuit board are integrally formed together at a position that the photosensitive units are aligned with the optical windows respectively.

Abstract: A light-field imaging system and a method for generating light-field image data are presented. The system comprising an imaging lens unit, a detector array and a polychromatic patterned filter located in optical path of collected light, being at an intermediate plane between the lens unit and the detector array. The method comprising: acquiring image data of a region of interest by passing input light coming from said region of interest through said imaging lens unit and said polychromatic patterned filter to be detected by said detector array to generate corresponding image data; and processing said image data to determined light components passing through different regions of said polychromatic patterned filter corresponding to different colors and different parts of the region of interest to provide light-field image data of said region of interest.

Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing array cameras configured to perform super-resolution processing to generate higher resolution super-resolved images using a plurality of captured images and lens stack arrays that can be utilized in array cameras are disclosed. An imaging device in accordance with one embodiment of the invention includes at least one imager array, and each imager in the array comprises a plurality of light sensing elements and a lens stack including at least one lens surface, where the lens stack is configured to form an image on the light sensing elements, control circuitry configured to capture images formed on the light sensing elements of each of the imagers, and a super-resolution processing module configured to generate at least one higher resolution super-resolved image using a plurality of the captured images.

Abstract: The present application provides a method of fabricating a quantum dot color film substrate, red and green quantum dots are respectively formulating into red and green quantum dot inks, then formation is performed by an inkjet printing, and a color filter layer is obtained, thereby brightness and color saturation of displays can be increased; simultaneously, the red quantum dot ink and the green quantum dot ink at least have an ink of epoxy resin system therein, when the ink of epoxy resin system is yet cured, a graphene conductive layer is formed thereon to act as an electrode, so that a greatly improved adhesion of the graphene conductive layer and the color filter layer can be obtained. Additionally, to replace ITO by utilizing graphene as a conductive layer can alleviate current issues of few ITO sources and increasing price, and the graphene has conductivity and high transmittance that make display quality of TFT-LCD screen be guaranteed, and an overall thinned and lightened panel be achieved. Such design helps increasing conductivity and integrating benefits, and also has very great application prospect in curved panel market.

Abstract: A switchable reflective colour filter is provided for use in a display device. The switchable reflective colour filter includes a plurality of sub-pixel regions of at least two colour types, each including a layer of phase change material which is switchable between a first state and a second state, the first and second states being two solid but structurally distinct states having different optical properties. Each sub-pixel region further includes two electrode layers, a mirror layer, and a spacer layer or air gap. The phase change material layer in each sub-pixel region is positioned between the two electrode layers, and separated from the mirror layer by the spacer layer or air gap. The switchable reflective colour filter may be incorporated into a display device including a pixelated switchable absorber. Abstract: An optical filter and manufacturing method therefor, a display substrate, and a display apparatus. The optical filter includes: a base substrate; an ordered porous film disposed on the base substrate, wherein the ordered porous film is formed with channels each of which having an extension direction at least at an angle to the base substrate and having an opening at a surface of the ordered porous film; and a plurality of quantum dots respectively disposed in at least part of the channels. The optical filter, the display substrate having the optical filter and the display apparatus can significantly improve the display colour gamut of the display apparatus.
