Abstract: The present invention relates to a genetic biocontainment technology to prevent theft or misuse of biological resources (e.g., nucleic acid molecule, plasmid or microbial strain containing the nucleic acid molecule, or sequence information associated with the nucleic acid molecule) using a quadruplet codon and decoding system thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to a system or a microbial strain comprising a nucleic acid molecule in which a triplet codon encoding a specific amino acid in a nucleic acid sequence has been replaced with a quadruplet codon, wherein genetic biocontainment occurs in an environment where tRNA for the quadruplet codon does not exist, and a method using the same. The present invention also relates to a biocontainment method to protect sequence information using a quadruplet codon.

Abstract: Provided is a system and method for estimating an end-to-end delay between blockchain nodes in peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. The system includes a coordinate system construction unit configured to designate an origin node and anchor nodes among participating nodes having a distributed ledger of P2P networks, construct a first coordinate system of a predetermined dimension by exchanging control messages between the origin node and the anchor nodes and the participating nodes, and construct a second coordinate system of another predetermined dimension and a dimension determination unit configured to determine a dimension to be applied to the current P2P networks by comparing dimension-specific delays or control message overheads of the first coordinate system and the second coordinate system.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure provides an extracellular matrix-based hybrid ink for 3D printing, the hybrid ink including an extracellular matrix having an amine group and a modified hyaluronic acid introduced with an ethylenically unsaturated bond functional group, in which the extracellular matrix and the modified hyaluronic acid are in a crosslinked state by a chemical bond formed between at least some of amine groups present in the extracellular matrix and the ethylenically unsaturated bond functional group present in the modified hyaluronic acid. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the hybrid ink has mechanical properties suitable for 3D printing through chemical crosslinking between the extracellular matrix and modified hyaluronic acid as constituents, and can control the drug release rate by adjusting the chemical crosslinking density.

Abstract: A system for noise-resistant quantum communication using hyperentanglement includes a quantum system that includes a plurality of qubits, a processor, and a memory. The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by the processor, cause the quantum system to access a signal of a quantum system that includes a plurality of qubits and obtain hyperentanglement of the plurality of qubits via an entanglement source. The hyperentanglement of the plurality of qubits is in at least two dimensions, including a first dimension and a second dimension. The instructions, when executed, further cause the quantum system to transmit the hyperentangled plurality of qubits via a communication channel; perform a communication of the signal with the first dimension of the at least two dimensions; and filter results of the communicated signal based on the second dimension of the at least two dimensions.
