Abstract:
An ozone generating apparatus includes a base container for holding water, and a head assembly connected to the upper edge of the base container, the head assembly containing a plurality of ozone generating cells each having a dielectric tube and an electrode assembly coaxially disposed within the associated dielectric tube. The dielectric tubes and electrode assemblies are disposed and connected such that the tube and/or electrode assembly of each ozone generating cell can be accessed independently of all other ozone generating cells, and such that the possibility of cascade failure of all remaining ozone generating cells upon failure of a single cell is substantially eliminated. The base container is provided with a process back flood prevention structure to protect the ozone generating cells.

Preferably, a third or leading or focus electrode is located upstream of the first array of emitter electrodes, and/or a trailing electrode is located downstream of the second array of collector electrodes. The device can also include an interstitial electrode located between collector electrodes, an enhanced collector electrode with an integrally formed trailing end, and an enhanced emitter electrode with an enhanced length in order to increase emissivity.
Abstract:
A ozonated liquid dispensing unit is described. The unit produces and dispenses an ozonated liquid that may be used to clean and sanitize a variety of articles or used in conjunction with cleaning processes and other apparatus. The unit includes a liquid input port to receive liquid into the unit. The unit includes a first dielectric cell for producing ozone gas from ambient air and a second dielectric cell for producing ozone gas. The first dielectric cell is in supply communication with the second dielectric cell for supplying the second dielectric cell with a supply gas containing the ozone gas generated from the ambient air. The second dielectric cell produces ozone gas from the supply gas. An injector is in fluidic communication with the liquid input port. The injector in supply communication with the second dielectric cell for receiving the ozone gas from the second dielectric cell, and the injector mixes the ozone gas from the second dielectric cell with the liquid from the liquid input port to produce an ozonated liquid. A liquid output port discharges the ozonated liquid from the unit. A faucet or spray may be used to control the discharge of the ozonated liquid from the unit.
Abstract:
An in-duct apparatus for sanitizing air includes a reaction unit, configured to be mounted in an air duct, for generating reactive oxygen species from oxygen in air received in the reaction unit to be sanitized. Airborne contaminants in the received air are substantially neutralized by the generated reactive oxygen species before the air is discharged from the reaction unit.
Abstract:

Preferably, a third or leading or focus electrode is located upstream of the first array of emitter electrodes, and/or a trailing electrode is located downstream of the second array of collector electrodes. The device can also include an interstitial electrode located between collector electrodes, an enhanced collector electrode with an integrally formed trailing end, and an enhanced emitter electrode with an enhanced length in order to increase emissivity.
Abstract:
The invention provides for a system and method for creating an optimized fuel/air mixture for more efficient combustion. The system in accordance with the invention includes an ozone generator and a gasifier that receives liquid fuel and ozone and creates an optimized fuel of mixture. The optimized fuel/air mixture is then delivered to the cylinders of a combustion engine.
Abstract:
An ion generator that can generate a controlled trace amount of ozone together with negative or positive ions. The ion generator includes an insulation substrate, a ground electrode and a high-voltage electrode on the insulation substrate, an insulating film formed on the ground electrode, and a wire electrode. The root of the wire electrode is soldered to the high-voltage electrode. The tip of the wire electrode is arranged so as to protrude in a recessed part. The ground electrode has a pair of legs disposed on the insulation substrate at the sides of the recessed part. The legs are parallel to the wire electrode on opposite sides of the wire electrode. The insulating film is provided on the surface of the ground electrode to cover the ground electrode except the high-voltage electrode contacting a first terminal, a contact portion contacting a second terminal and parts of the legs of tips of the ground electrode that face the tip of the wire electrode.

Abstract:
Electro-kinetic air transporter and conditioner systems and methods are provided. A system includes a pin emitter electrode and a ring collector electrode located downstream from the emitter electrode. A driver electrode, which is preferably insulated, is located at least partially within an interior of said ring collector electrode. A high voltage source provides a voltage potential to at least one of said emitter electrode and said collector electrode to thereby provide a potential difference therebetween. The driver electrode may or may not be at a same voltage potential as the emitter electrode, but should be at a different voltage potential than the collector electrode. This description is not intended to be a complete description of, or limit the scope of, the invention. Other features, aspects, and objects of the invention can be obtained from a review of the specification, the figures, and the claims.
