    Abstract: An automated produced water treatment system that injects ozone or an ozone-oxygen mixture upstream of produced water separators, with the dose rate changing dynamically as the produced water quality changes, as determined by continuous monitoring of the produced water quality by a plurality of sensors that detect water quality parameters in real time. The system may operate as a “slipstream” injection system, that draws a portion of produced water from the produced water pipeline and injects ozone or an ozone-oxygen mixture back into the pipeline with disrupting or slowing normal operations. Disinfectants or other additives may also be injected. The treatment system may be wholly or partially contained in mobile containers or trailers, for on-the-fly use in existing produced water treatment facilities.

    Abstract: A gravity flow runoff water purification system is provided. The gravity flow runoff water purification system of the present invention includes a debris filter, a grit chamber, and a linear electrolytic reactor. The linear electrolytic reactor includes a plurality of cell chambers separated by at least one fixed electrode plate operable to receive a current. A bi-polar anode blend is disposed at the bottom of each chamber and is charged by the at least one electrode plate using a VLF AC current in order to prevent plating over of fixed electrodes. The blend includes a conductive and consumable metal fraction, a conductive and non-consumable fraction, and a non-conductive pours spacer. Water runs through the debris filter, through the grit chamber and into the linear electrolytic reactor via gravity. The water flows through each of the cell chambers, thereby clarifying and purifying the water.

    Abstract: Water treatment apparatus for supplying ozonated water to appliances, such as clothes washing machines. First and second water aspirators include respective first and second Venturi tubes. One aspirator is designed for a relatively higher water flow rate, and the other is designed for a relatively lower water flow rate. A valve selectively directs water from a water inlet to a water outlet through either the first or the second water aspirator. Ozone from an ozone generator is drawn either into water flowing through the first Venturi tube or water flowing through the second Venturi tube, depending on the position of the valve. A water flow sensor includes a microphone physically connected for sensing a sound characteristic of operation of a Venturi tube. A controller effects a time delay for maintaining activation of the ozone generator for a predetermined time duration even after water flow has ceased.
