A system is also provided for sanitizing and deodorizing water, food, surfaces and air including a microbiological reduction filter device having an input connected to a water supply, a venturi injector disposed within a housing and connected to an output of the microbiological reduction filter device which generates ozone and mixes the generated ozone with the water, and an electrode assembly comprising a plurality of electrodes, a dielectric for generating the ozone, and a knob extending outside of the housing. The dielectric in a first embodiment and the entire dielectric assembly in a second embodiment can be removed from the housing and replaced in its entirety by the knob.
Abstract:
An ozone generation apparatus includes a cylindrical shaped first electrode, a cylindrical shaped second electrode disposed coaxially with the first electrode and disposed in the first electrode, a dielectric disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. Dry air is supplied between the first electrode and the second electrode as raw material gas. A discharge gap length d formed by the first electrode, the second electrode, and the dielectric is set to be in a range of 0.3 to 0.5 mm. A pd product, which is a product of the discharge gap length d and a gas pressure p of the raw material gas, is in a range of 6 to 16 kPa·cm. And the discharge gap length d and the gas pressure p of the raw material gas are set to satisfy following expression.
Abstract:
In an ozone generating system in which an intermittent operation is performed, in which an ozone generating operation period in which ozone is generated by discharging gas which contains oxygen in a discharge space of an ozone generating apparatus and an ozone generating operation standby period in which gas is sealed in an ozone generating apparatus and discharge is stopped so as not to generate ozone are performed repeatedly, an absorbent which absorbs at least one of nitric acid and nitrogen oxide is provided in an ozone generating apparatus other than the discharge space.
Abstract:
The present invention generally includes an ozone generation system with a power supply that measures the rate of energy delivered to the ozone generation cell. While changing voltage, frequency or current will likely affect the rate of energy delivery, current, frequency and voltage provide a very poor and unreliable control for an ozone generation cell. It is only through control of the rate of energy delivery that consistent, reliable ozone generation is possible. Based upon the measurements of the rate of energy delivery as measured at the ozone generation cell, compared to the rate of energy delivery supplied, the rate of energy delivery supplied can be adjusted to improve ozone production and control.
