Abstract: An electrical contact includes a compliant tail defining a pair of opposite first main face and second main face, and a pair of opposite first side face and second side face linked between the first main face and the second main face. The opposite first side face and second side face are bulged for engagement with an interior surface of the corresponding through hole. A pair of first through holes and a pair of second through holes extend through both the first main face and the second main face. The first through holes are configured with an elongated configuration while the second though holes are located around two opposite upper and lower ends of the first through holes.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a number of mating contacts fixed in the insulative housing and a shell covering the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes a base portion and a mating portion extending from the base portion. The base portion includes a mounting surface perpendicular to the mating portion. The base portion defines a mounting slot recessed from the mounting surface. The base portion includes two rows of contact receiving slots located at two sides of the mounting slot. The contact receiving slot includes an inner surface and two opposite side surfaces. The mating contact is inserted into the contact receiving slot and interfered with the side surfaces. The electrical connector also includes a fixing member mounted into the mounting slot. The fixing member has a number of fixing projections to engage with two rows of contacts, respectively.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulative housing forming a pair of receiving slots, two pairs of contacts are retained in the housing and located by two sides of the corresponding receiving slots, respectively. Abstract: A plurality of contact are received within the corresponding passageways of the insulative housing of an electrical connector, respectively. Each contact has juxtaposed first body and second body angled with each other via a connecting section linked therebetween. A resilient contacting section extends upwardly from the first body. The bottom portion of the second body forms sideward spaced first blade and second blade with a slit therebetween, wherein a soldering tail further extends from the first blade, and the second blade is sideward farther from the first body than the first blade is. The bottom edge of the first body is lower than the bottom edge of the connecting sections o as to form another slit between the first body and the second body under the connection section.
