Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of upper contacts and a plurality of lower contacts disposed in the housing with a metallic shielding plate therebetween, and a metallic shielding shell enclosing the housing. The upper contacts have the signal contacts and the grounding contacts alternatively arranged with each other along a transverse direction. A plurality of wires are located behind the housing. Each of the wires includes an inner conductor mechanically and electrically connected to the corresponding signal contacts, and an outer braiding layer surrounding the inner conductor. A grounding bar is mechanically and electrically connected to all the shielding plate, the braiding layer, the grounding contacts and the shell.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of conductive terminals retained in the insulative housing and two grounding members. The insulative housing defines an upper sidewall, a lower sidewall and two end walls connected to both ends of the upper and lower sidewalls to form a mating cavity. Each grounding member defines a body portion fixed to the outside of the insulative housing and a plurality of contacting arms. Each contacting arm defines a connecting portion extending forwardly from the body portion and a contacting portion bent inwardly from the connecting portion, and the upper and lower sidewalls of the insulative housing defines a plurality of channels and a plurality of ribs, the contacting portion of the grounding member protrudes into the mating cavity and the connecting portion abuts against the top surface of the rib to form a certain pre-pressure to the contacting arm.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulative housing forming a pair of receiving slots, two pairs of contacts are retained in the housing and located by two sides of the corresponding receiving slots, respectively. Each contact has a frame having four sides with a pair of first spring arms extending from two opposite sides toward each other and extending into the receiving slot with the corresponding contact points at different levels. A second spring arm extends from another side into the receiving slot. A deflection direction of the first spring arms is perpendicular to that of the second spring arm, and the first spring arms contact one side of the blade type contact of the plug connector and the second spring arm contacts another side of the blade type contact of the plug connector.
