    Abstract: A self-propelled surface treating device, in particular a cleaning robot, with a device housing and a collision detection device for detecting a collision between the surface treating device and an obstacle, wherein the collision detection device has at least one touch-sensitive contact sensor. In order to protect the surface treating device against impacts in the vertical direction, it is proposed that the touch-sensitive contact sensor be a vertical contact sensor, which is arranged on the device housing in such a way that its detection area is vertically aligned during a movement with the surface treating device conventionally oriented, so that the vertical contact sensor is configured to detect a force acting vertically on the surface treating device.

    Abstract: Provided is a self-propelled cleaning robot that can efficiently clean a flat surface even if a step is formed. The self-propelled cleaning robot that self-travels on a structure to clean a flat surface of the structure, the structure being installed in an outdoor location, the robot includes: a robot main body (2) in which a self-propelled moving mechanism (4) is provided; a cleaning unit (10) that is provided in a front portion and/or a rear portion of the robot main body (2); and a controller (30) that controls activation of the moving mechanism (4). At this point, the controller (30) includes an attitude controller (35) that detects an attitude of the robot main body (2), the attitude controller (35) includes a floating detection sensor (36) that detects floating in one of the front portion and the rear portion of the robot main body (2), and, when the floating detection sensor (36) detects the floating in one of the front portion and the rear portion of the robot main body (2), the controller (30) controls the activation of the moving mechanism (4) such that the cleaning unit (10) passes through a place where the floating is detected after the floating is eliminated.

    Abstract: An automatic cleaning device includes a main body and a sensor. The main body includes a charging unit and a battery unit. The charging unit is arranged on a side of the main body. The automatic cleaning device is configured to decide whether to enter an auto charging mode, so as to sequentially perform a walking-along-the-wall operation and a reset charging operation. During the walking-along-the-wall operation of the automatic cleaning device, when the sensor senses a signal, the automatic cleaning device stops the walking-along-the-wall operation, and performs the reset charging operation after the main body turns a preset angle. During the reset charging operation of the automatic cleaning device, after the main body moves to the charging base, whether the charging unit contacts a charging base is determined, so as to charge the battery unit.
