Abstract:
A communication device, system and service provider for automatically populating feature capabilities. In one illustrative embodiment, the communication device can begin automatic download of service provider features and content by registering with a service provider. When successfully registered, the service provider can determine a set of available features for the communication device. The available features can be dependent on a number of factors including licensing, location, or subscription of the communication device. Available features can also be dependent on whether the communication device is idle or active. The service provider can notify the communication device with the set of available features. The features can be uniquely identified by a feature identification that represents the service provider and the feature. At any time, when the communication device reports that the user has selected a feature on the device, the service provider can take the appropriate actions.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for number identification and tagging. One of the methods includes identifying a content item to be provided to a mobile device. The method includes identifying a location of the mobile device. The method includes identifying at least one calling format based on the location. The method includes identify a calling number included in the content item based on the at least one calling format. The method includes generating an altered version of the content item to tag the calling number. The method also includes provide the altered version to the mobile device.
Abstract:
An integrated voicemail system is described that provides “visual voicemail” that overcomes the shortcomings associated with a user having to dial into a voicemail system and navigate through a menu of options using conventional voice and/or standard DTMF signaling-based browsing capabilities. The visual voicemail instead provides, via a client device of the user's choice, a visual presentation of a user's voicemails along with state information of the voicemails. The visual presentation of the voicemails includes a user interface that allows a user to control or manipulate voicemails from the client device, where the manipulation includes playing, pausing, rewinding, fast-forwarding, deleting, and changing a state of each voicemail. The visual voicemail also eliminates the need for a user to periodically call-in to the enterprise voicemail system in order to check for voicemail messages as the messages can be automatically delivered to the user's client device.
Abstract:
A method of monitoring activity in a contact center may include receiving a plurality of customer interactions; storing a plurality of textual records; grouping the plurality of textual records into a plurality of groups, wherein each of the plurality of groups is associated with an attribute of the associated customer interaction; and causing to be displayed a graphical representation of the plurality of customer interactions comprising a plurality of geometric shapes, where each of the geometric shapes is associated with a corresponding one of the groups; and each of the geometric shapes comprises an area on the display device that is proportional to a size of the corresponding one of the groups relative to sizes of the remaining groups.
Abstract:
A method of displaying telephone call data having the steps of receiving a network message containing a telephone id, retrieving a network address associated with the telephone id from a database, retrieving data from the network address, and causing the data to be displayed on a visual display.
Abstract:
A portable device and a method for controlling the same are discussed, in which additional data of caller ID are displayed. The method includes receiving an incoming call; detecting a user's face on the portable device; displaying a list of items representing additional data on the incoming call when the user's face is detected, wherein the additional data are collected from a plurality of data sources corresponding to caller ID of the incoming call; detecting a user's gaze on a first item included in the list, wherein the first item representing a first part of the additional data; and displaying the first part of the additional data when the user's gaze is maintained on the first item over a first period of time.

Abstract:
A user of a personal computing device may identify an item of interest displayed in a user interface provided by a network-based service and would like to obtain more information. The user may submit one or more electronic contact requests to a contact service in communication with a contact distribution system in order to obtain more information. The contact distribution system determines accurate, real-time availability of service agents and enables communications between the customer and an agent to be established in accordance with user contact information provided by the user.
Abstract:
Interactions with a user are coordinated upon receiving, at a networked interactive system, audible communication from a user and interacting with the user in the audible communication in accordance with an audible format menu. Whether to provide the user with a visual format menu that at least partially matches the audible format menu is determined during the audible communication. The user is provided with the visual format menu concurrent with the audible communication upon determining, based on the interaction with the user in the audible communication, to provide the user with the visual format menu. Interactions with the user are in accordance with the visual format menu.
Abstract:
At least one example embodiment discloses terminals including at least one alterable function key and a display to display in proximity to the key an indication relating to the function of this key, which includes indicating to a communication server which types of indication the terminal is able to display in proximity to this key, sending, from the server to the terminal, information defining at least one KPML command that the server is capable of receiving and that it is capable of executing and information defining at least one indication associated with the command and which must be displayed on the terminal, in proximity to an adaptable function key depending on a telephone state of an active communication.
