Abstract: An ink jet process is used to deposit a material layer to a desired thickness. Layout data is converted to per-cell grayscale values, each representing ink volume to be locally delivered. The grayscale values are used to generate a halftone pattern to deliver variable ink volume (and thickness) to the substrate. The halftoning provides for a relatively continuous layer (e.g., without unintended gaps or holes) while providing for variable volume and, thus, contributes to variable ink/material buildup to achieve desired thickness. The ink is jetted as liquid or aerosol that suspends material used to form the material layer, for example, an organic material used to form an encapsulation layer for a flat panel device. The deposited layer is then cured or otherwise finished to complete the process.

Abstract: A reciprocating glue dispenser dispensing switch includes a switching device main body, a needle holding base, a sliding wear-resistant plate, and a driving device. The switching device main body is equipped with a double liquid inlet, the needle holding base is equipped with a mixed glue outlet, the sliding wear-resistant plate is installed between the switching device main body and the needle holding base, and the sliding wear-resistant plate is equipped with a sliding wear-resistant plate opening. The driving device is utilized to move the sliding wear-resistant plate. A mixed double-liquid glue passes through the double liquid inlet, the sliding wear-resistant plate opening and the glue outlet to dispense a mixed double-liquid glue while the double liquid inlet, the sliding wear-resistant plate opening and the glue outlet are overlapped. In addition, a double liquid dispensing equipment is also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A hot melt adhesive system includes an adhesive supply for receiving solid or semi-solid hot melt adhesive, and a heater associated with the adhesive supply for melting the solid or semi-solid hot melt adhesive into liquid hot melt adhesive. An adhesive tracking system monitors an output of the liquid hot melt adhesive, and includes a flow meter having a flow inlet and a flow outlet. The flow meter measures an amount of the adhesive flowing out of the flow outlet. A product detector may be used to sense a presence of a product to which the adhesive is applied. A controller then determines the total amount of the liquid adhesive dispensed and the average amount of liquid adhesive dispensed per product.

According to the viscous liquid dispensing method using a three-dimensional scanner according to the present disclosure, even when there are some errors in the shape and dimension of the work, the errors can be compensated for, and thus manufacturing costs of the work can be indirectly lowered by dispensing the viscous liquid.-

Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method for producing a printed circuit board having at least one coating includes mixing a first component with a second component of a two component coating system to form a coating mixture by means of a dynamic mixer or by means of a static-dynamic mixer. The method also includes supplying the coating mixture to an output unit, and coating the printed circuit board by outputting the coating mixture using the output unit onto the printed circuit board. The output unit is moved automatically in at least one, two, or three dimensions relative to the printed circuit board. The mixer is connected with the output unit in such a manner that it is moved together with the output unit relative to the printed circuit board. The present disclosure also includes a coating head for performing the method.
