Abstract: A substrate treating apparatus for treating substrates includes a plurality of substrate treatment lines arranged vertically for carrying out plural types of treatment on the substrates while transporting the substrates substantially horizontally, and a controller for changing processes of treatment carried out on the substrates for each of the substrate treatment lines. By changing the processes of treatment carried out for the substrates for each substrate treatment line, the processes of treatment carried out for the substrates can be changed for each substrate conveniently. Thus, a plurality of different processes of treatment corresponding to the number of substrate treatment lines can be carried out in parallel for the respective substrates.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for preventing oxidation or contamination during a circuit printing operation. The circuit printing operation can be directed to OLED-type printing. In an exemplary embodiment, the printing process is conducted at a load-locked printer housing having one or more of chambers. Each chamber is partitioned from the other chambers by physical gates or fluidic curtains. A controller coordinates transportation of a substrate through the system and purges the system by timely opening appropriate gates. The controller may also control the printing operation by energizing the print-head at a time when the substrate is positioned substantially thereunder.

The fixing mechanism includes a plurality of fixing portions for fixing work-pieces to be coated. The liquid holding mechanism includes a plurality of liquid tanks arranged side by side. The liquid injection mechanism includes a liquid storage portion and an infusion portion. The control device is configured to control at least one of a relative movement between the fixing mechanism and the liquid holding mechanism and a relative movement between the liquid holding mechanism and the liquid injection mechanism. The control device is configured to control the liquid injection mechanism to supply the coating liquid via the infusion portion.

Abstract: A method and a system for coating products are provided. The method includes the steps of applying a coating liquid to a product and removing excess coating liquid from the product. It is desirable to provide a method and system for efficiently and reliably coating delicate or easily deformable products, such as products molded from a pulp fiber slurry. The method includes fixing the product to a receiving portion of a product carrier that is configured in the same shape as the product, such that an exterior surface of the product abuts the interior concave surface of the receiving portion of the device. A coating liquid is applied to the product in the product carrier. The product carrier is affixed to a centrifuging device and the coating liquid is dispersed over the surface of the product using centripetal force.

Abstract: A semi-autonomous spray applicator system for a plurality of elongated members. A rail detection system of the semi-autonomous spray applicator system is configured to sense the opposing distal endpoint of each elongated member as the longitudinal length of each member may vary pocket to pocket. A traversing applicator head operatively associated with the system applies adhesive spray to a longitudinal edge and a distal end of sensed, pocketed elongated members, wherein the application of spray is selectively controlled by way of a user interface.

Abstract: Improved methods and apparatus to quickly and securely fasten a tumbler cup to a spindle turner arm in a consistent and accurate manner. A spindle tumbler arm is inserted into a support body and contacts one or more cams. The cams move a plunger outward forcing a seal against a wall of an interior change securing turner arm against to the tumbler cup. Other embodiments include an expandable bladder placed into the tumbler cup, thereby providing enhanced stability and support; and a threaded support attached via a threaded connection. The expandable bladder and/or the threaded support in such embodiments may also incorporate an internal plunger-cam mechanism, enhancing their functionality and adaptability for diverse tumbler customization needs.

Abstract: A substrate processing system includes a first chamber including a substrate support. A showerhead is arranged above the first chamber and is configured to filter ions and deliver radicals from a plasma source to the first chamber. The showerhead includes a heat transfer fluid plenum, a secondary gas plenum including an inlet to receive secondary gas and a plurality of secondary gas injectors to inject the secondary gas into the first chamber, and a plurality of through holes passing through the showerhead. The through holes are not in fluid communication with the heat transfer fluid plenum or the secondary gas plenum.
