    Abstract: In a joining jig for disposing a sheet-shaped adherend on one surface side of a sheet-shaped material, folding back the adherend in an end edge portion of the sheet-shaped material, and causing adhesion of an end edge portion of the adherend on the other surface side of the sheet-shaped material, by a tip portion of an attachment piece pivoting in the end edge portion of a placement surface of a placement base, the attachment piece is switchable between a deployment position where an attachment surface to which the adherend is attached is deployed outside the end edge portion of the placement surface of the placement base and a facing position where the attachment surface faces the end edge portion of the placement surface.

    Abstract: Some embodiments of the disclosure describe a batch coating apparatus. In some examples, the batch coating apparatus includes a fixing mechanism, a liquid holding mechanism, a liquid injection mechanism and a control device. The fixing mechanism includes a plurality of fixing portions for fixing work-pieces to be coated. The liquid holding mechanism includes a plurality of liquid tanks arranged side by side. The liquid injection mechanism includes a liquid storage portion and an infusion portion. The control device is configured to control at least one of a relative movement between the fixing mechanism and the liquid holding mechanism and a relative movement between the liquid holding mechanism and the liquid injection mechanism. The control device is configured to control the liquid injection mechanism to supply the coating liquid via the infusion portion.

    Abstract: A method and a system for coating products are provided. The method includes the steps of applying a coating liquid to a product and removing excess coating liquid from the product. It is desirable to provide a method and system for efficiently and reliably coating delicate or easily deformable products, such as products molded from a pulp fiber slurry. The method includes fixing the product to a receiving portion of a product carrier that is configured in the same shape as the product, such that an exterior surface of the product abuts the interior concave surface of the receiving portion of the device. A coating liquid is applied to the product in the product carrier. The product carrier is affixed to a centrifuging device and the coating liquid is dispersed over the surface of the product using centripetal force.

    Abstract: A semi-autonomous spray applicator system for a plurality of elongated members. The semi-autonomous spray applicator system provides a plurality of spaced apart pockets, wherein each pocket establishes a centerline and proximal endpoint for the pocketed elongated member. A rail detection system of the semi-autonomous spray applicator system is configured to sense the opposing distal endpoint of each elongated member as the longitudinal length of each member may vary pocket to pocket. A traversing applicator head operatively associated with the system applies adhesive spray to a longitudinal edge and a distal end of sensed, pocketed elongated members, wherein the application of spray is selectively controlled by way of a user interface.

    Abstract: Improved methods and apparatus to quickly and securely fasten a tumbler cup to a spindle turner arm in a consistent and accurate manner. A spindle tumbler arm is inserted into a support body and contacts one or more cams. The cams move a plunger outward forcing a seal against a wall of an interior change securing turner arm against to the tumbler cup. Other embodiments include an expandable bladder placed into the tumbler cup, thereby providing enhanced stability and support; and a threaded support attached via a threaded connection. The expandable bladder and/or the threaded support in such embodiments may also incorporate an internal plunger-cam mechanism, enhancing their functionality and adaptability for diverse tumbler customization needs.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a substrate treating apparatus in which a first treating unit is located rightward of a transportation space. The first treating unit includes a first holder. A second treating unit is located leftward of the transportation space. The second treating unit includes a second holder.     Abstract: A grid guidance device for guiding battery grids to a battery pasting machine. The grid guidance device includes an assemblage of components that work together to adjust a position of a platform relative to a pasting orifice of the battery pasting machine. The platform receives the battery grids over it amid use of the grid guidance device. Multiple electric motors can be provided to rotate shafts for making the position adjustments. The position adjustments can involve one or more of the following: lateral positioning of the battery grids relative to the pasting orifice, advancement and retraction positioning of the platform relative to the pasting orifice, and/or raising and lowering positioning of the platform relative to the pasting orifice.
