Abstract:
An apparatus is provided, which includes an electrolysis cell, a liquid flow path that passes through the electrolysis cell, and an indicator light. The indicator light is illuminated as a function of an operating characteristic of the electrolysis cell and luminous flux radiated from the light illuminates liquid along at least a portion of the flow path.

Abstract:
A vessel configured to float on a body of seawater has a wastewater treatment system having a wastewater intake port for intaking wastewater onto the vessel, a wastewater treatment component for treating the wastewater to produce treated wastewater and sludge, and a treated wastewater conduit for transporting the treated wastewater away from the wastewater treatment component, a desalination system has a seawater intake for intaking seawater from the body of seawater onto the vessel, a desalination component for desalinating the seawater to produce concentrate and desalinated water, and a desalinated water discharge port for transferring the desalinated water from the vessel, a mixing system has a mixing tank for mixing the treated wastewater from the wastewater treatment system with the concentrate from the desalination system, and a wastewater discharge system for discharging the treated wastewater and concentrate mixture into the body of seawater.
Abstract:
A disinfectant treatment for self-contained potable water systems. A lamp or lamps within the interior of at least one component system in which water is resident. During operation of the system. As the water tank, water heater, water filter, or other component which holds a volume of water. By putting a radioactive and a microbial effect in response to exposure to UV radiation may be formed of the vessel or other component. The radioactive material may be tin dioxide, titanium dioxide, or other material that produces hydroxyl ions in response to UV exposure. The hydroxyl ions flow from the vessel or other component into the piping and other components so as to attack/inhibit microbial action throughout the system. The lamps are mounted within quartz sleeves for immersion in water or other components. The quartz sleeves to prevent vibration damage. May also be used to of the system so as to prevent friction freeze damage.
Abstract:
A modular apparatus having certain processing equipment mounted on portable skids that are adaptable and versatile to permit customized arrangement for oil-recovery processing of a wide range of oil-base sludge compositions in a cost-efficient manner. In one aspect, the invention is directed to a modular apparatus optimally configured for oil recovery of sludge having a high concentration of low density solids, wherein the apparatus may include a pumping skid, a shaker skid, a heating skid, a chemical skid, a phase separator skid, a gas purification skid, a decanter skid, and an oil purification skid. In another aspect, the invention is directed to a modular apparatus optimally configured for oil recovery of sludge having a high concentration of high density solids, wherein the apparatus may include a pumping skid, a shaker skid, a heating skid, a first chemical skid, a decanter skid, a second chemical skid, a phase separator skid, a gas purification skid, and an oil purification skid. In still another aspect, the invention is directed to a modular apparatus optimally configured for oil recovery of sludge having a very low solids content, wherein the apparatus may include a pumping skid, a shaker skid, a heating skid, a chemical skid, a phase separator skid, a gas purification skid, and an oil purification skid.
Abstract:
A mobile water-contaminant separation system having a plurality of separate water separation units connected to one another, a conveyor component which captures contaminated water at a first end, conveys the contaminated water to a second end, and deposits the contaminated water in a first of the plurality of water separation units for processing. A pump between succeeding water separation units facilitates the transfer from a prior water separation unit to a succeeding water separation unit for further processing until the contaminated water is completely de-contaminated.
Abstract:
A system and process for removing contaminants from wastewater where the wastewater is treated into a cleaned water that can be reused or discharged into the environment. The wastewater is transported through purification sections, depending on the system including several of the following: pre-treatment via screening and weirs to remove debris and certain heavy solids; a second pretreatment via a sump; strainer; conductivity solution injection system and electrolytic coagulation system; polymer injection system; inline mixers for mixing the polymer in the wastewater stream; retention tubes for providing residence time for the polymer to react in the wastewater stream; a multi-stage separation system comprised of a plurality of water separation compartments for consecutively separating contaminants from the wastewater stream by removing contaminants that float and heavy contaminants that settle to the bottom; and an ozone treatment system. Except for the pretreatment sections, each of the treatment sections are contained within an enclosure cabinet that includes controller and control panels as well and feed containers for the conductivity fluid and polymer.
Abstract:
A chemical/biological wastewater treatment plant apparatus and treatment method employing rapid sludge chemical dewatering technology in conjunction with an environmental biological system for treating the separated treated wastewater by land applying it for the propagation of biosynthetic fuels and other plants; and/or passing it through aqueous plant or microbial reduction of the dissolved solids and ammonia for BOD compliance to produce water of sufficient quality to reduce the overall salt load currently being added by wastewater treatment facilities into natural waterways, and to produce water of sufficient quality to meet open stream and ocean effluent discharge requirements; and disposing of the high BTU low moisture solids.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for utilizing a substantially condensed phase cryogenic fluid for the purpose of remediation and retrieval of, e.g., spilled crude oil and other “oil spill”-related products from marine/aquatic and terrestrial environments. In some implementations, systems and apparatus are provided for applying a substantially condensed phase cryogenic fluid to a volume of spilled oil, and further having structure for collecting the spilled oil. Some implementations are environmentally-neutral. Substances other than oil may be remediated as well.
