Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and device for preparing slightly acidic electrolyzed water with a controllable and stable concentration. According to the method, a solution addition velocity of a first solution addition device is adjusted according to a difference between a detected voltage Udetected and a control voltage Ucontrol in an electrolytic cell, so that the first solution addition device adds an electrolyte stock solution to the electrolytic cell in real time, thereby preparing the slightly acidic electrolyzed water with a controllable and stable concentration. The device includes an electrolyte stock solution storage, an electrolytic cell and a first mixer connected sequentially. A first solution addition device is connected in series between the electrolyte stock solution storage and the electrolytic cell. The disclosure overcomes the defects of uncontrollable and unstable concentration in the preparation of present slightly acidic electrolyzed water.

Abstract: A method of operating an electrochemical cell including introducing an aqueous solution into the electrochemical cell, applying a current across an anode and a cathode to produce a product, monitoring the voltage, dissolved hydrogen, or a condition of the aqueous solution, and applying the current in a pulsed waveform responsive to one of the measured parameters is disclosed. An electrochemical system including an electrochemical cell including an anode and a cathode, a source of an aqueous solution having an outlet fluidly connectable to the electrochemical cell, a sensor for measuring a parameter, and a controller configured to cause the anode and the cathode to apply the current in a pulsed waveform responsive to the parameter measurement is disclosed. Methods of suppressing accumulation of hydrogen gas within the electrochemical cell are also disclosed. Methods of facilitating operation of an electrochemical cell are also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a device for efficiently recycling nickel from wastewater and a method. The device includes a housing, and an extraction unit and an electro-deposition unit which are respectively arranged inside the housing. The device is reasonable in overall structural design. An oscillating and floating component and a rotating component in an extraction cavity are used to fully and uniformly mix a solution to maximize the extraction strength. A mixing component in an electro-deposition cavity is used to accelerate ion dispersion, to better recycle nickel. The device is easy to operate, low in cost and suitable for mass promotion.

Abstract: A cleaning, sanitizing or disinfecting scrubbing device includes a body, a non-thermal plasma generator and damp wipe. Generated plasma activates fluid in the wipe. The device may include spacer posts between the body and wipe and a conductive mesh between the body and wipe or embedded in the wipe. Another embodiment includes a reservoir for holding a water-based fluid, a fluid delivery element connected to the reservoir by a tube through which the fluid can flow and a non-thermal plasma generator. The non-thermal plasma generator activates the fluid. In one embodiment the scrubbing device is a mitt. In another embodiment the scrubbing device is a glove.

Abstract: A liquid treatment device that can improve liquid treatment performance by taking advantage of the Fenton's reaction while efficiently generating plasma for liquid treatment, in addition to enabling stable plasma generation for extended time periods includes a first electrode that is rod-like in shape; a second electrode that is plate-like in shape and is configured from a metal containing copper or iron; and a treatment vessel in which introduced liquid swirls, and generates a gas phase in a swirl flow of the liquid. A plasma is generated by applying a pulse voltage to the generated gas phase, and a negative DC voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode serving as a cathode and an anode, respectively. Under the applied negative voltage, the plate-like second electrode generates copper ions or iron ions, and the copper or iron ions undergo Fenton's reaction with the hydrogen peroxide generated by the plasma so that liquid can be efficiently treated.
