Abstract:
Systems and methods of attracting and retaining customers of a Banking institution through an incentive program is disclosed, comprising: operating a promotional program, comprising the dispensing of a indicia redeemable for a prize, and wherein the dispensing of the indicia is accomplished through the use of an automated teller machine (ATM); and operating a rewards program, wherein upon a customer completing a triggering behavior, a specified reward is granted to the customer. Systems and methods of operating a promotional program for customers of a Banking institution is also disclosed, wherein the method comprises dispensing a indicia redeemable for a prize, and wherein the dispensing of the indicia is accomplished through the use of an automated checking machine (ATM).
Abstract:
An exemplary system includes an ATM (322) which is operative to conduct transactions including cash dispensing for users responsive to communication with a transaction host (336). The ATM is also operative to provide output signals which drive external displays (328, 330) which are separate from the ATM. The processor in the ATM is also operative to cause the ATM to receive visual and/or audio content from one or more content sources (342, 343) and to store data corresponding to such content in the ATM. Such content is then output through the external displays. The ATM is also operative to receive and store a plurality of advertising messages. The advertising messages are output in a targeted manner to users of the ATM.
Abstract:
An automated retail terminal in which a plurality of goods and/or services are provided in an integrated system. The integrated system generally avoids duplicating hardware or functions in the course of delivering the goods or services offered, so for example in a combination ATM and Internet kiosk the same credit card or smart card reader is used for both the ATM and the Internet kiosk functions, the same control screen activates the ATM functions and the Internet functions, and etc.

Abstract:
An automated banking machine (12) is operative to conduct transactions in response to HTML documents and TCP/IP messages exchanged with a local computer system (14) through an intranet (16), as well as in response to messages exchanged with foreign servers (20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 96) in a wide area network (18). The banking machine includes a computer (34) having an HTML document handling portion (76, 80, 82). The HTML document handling portion is operative to communicate through a proxy server (88), with a home HTTP server (90) in the intranet or the foreign servers in the wide area network. The computer further includes a device application portion (84) which interfaces with the HTML document handling portion and dispatches messages to operate devices (36) in the automated banking machine. The devices include a sheet dispenser mechanism (42) which dispenses currency as well as other transaction devices.
Abstract:
A method and device enables tokenless authorization of an electronic payment between a payor and a payee using an electronic identicator and a payor bid biometric sample. The payor registers with a registration biometric sample, and a payor financial account identifier. The payee registers a payee identification data with the electronic identicator. A payee bid identification data and a payor bid biometric sample are electronically forwarded to the identicator. The bid biometric sample is compared with registered biometric samples and the payee's bid identification data is compared with a payee's registered identification data for a successful or failed identifications of the payor and payee. If successful, an electronic financial transaction is then formed comprising a transaction amount and a payor financial account identifier. Loyalty or reward information stored in the database at the DPC is automatically transmitted back to the PIA along with any financial account information.

Abstract:
A method and a device are provided for printing value-added information onto a continuous printing medium. The continuous printing medium comprises the first printing medium connected with the second printing medium. The first printing medium has the first transaction information area and a first value-added information area. The second printing medium has the second transaction information area and the second value-added information area. The first transaction information area, the first value-added information, the second transaction information area and the second value-added information area are aligned sequentially. The printing method comprises the steps of firstly printing the first transaction data and the value-added information respectively onto the first transaction information area and the second value-added information area, and secondly, moving the continuous printing medium. And the last step is to print the first the second transaction data onto the second transaction information area.
Abstract:
A method for filling ATM cassettes for automatic teller machines in branch banks provides to fill the empty or half-empty money cassette removed from the automatic teller machine of a branch bank in a mobile charging station during the drive to the next branch bank and to exchange such a money cassette for the empty or half-empty ATM cassette of this next branch bank, etc. The mobile charging station is adapted to work fully automatically. Alternatively, the filling in the mobile charging station can be effected partially manually.
Abstract:
An automated banking machine (10) includes a cash dispenser (220). A machine user interface (15) includes a card reader (16), receipt printer opening (30), and cash dispensing opening (38). A cash acceptor mechanism (80) includes a chute (82) which enables a user to input a stack of currency notes (84) into the machine through a deposit opening (40). Notes are separated from an inputted stack via a note picker device (158, 352) and a note stripper device (64, 162, 354). Upon sensing multiple notes have been picked, picker device movement is reversed to function with the stripper device in returning notes toward the stack. The stripper device is driven to move a note engaged therewith at a faster rate or for a longer time period relative to a note engaged with the picker device to reorient returning notes to facilitate a subsequent note separation attempt.
