Abstract:
A massage chair with a head cover is disclosed. The massage chair has an inner hat body, an outer shell and a lighting element at a front end of the outer shell. The lighting element can generate four frequency bands α, β, θ, δ, and the combination thereof, so when the user is using the massage chair, the user can not only the inner hat body and the outer shell can prevent the user from being disturbed, but also the lighting element can generate light waves to the user's eyes, so the user's optic can receive the light waves and convert them to signals transmitted to the brain to achieve the results of spiritual guidance.
Abstract:
An apparatus having an upper frame adapted to at least partially encircle a person; a lower frame; a scissor mechanism for coupling the upper frame to the lower frame, wherein the distance between the upper frame and the lower frame can be varied by adjusting the scissor mechanism; and a telescoping rod coupled to the scissor mechanism for locking the scissor mechanism, wherein the distance between the upper frame and the lower frame is locked by the telescoping rod.
Abstract:
A device for cold therapy using cooling mist. Ice baths and cryogenic chamber are previously known solutions for cold therapy, but both suffer from several disadvantages, such as space requirements. The present device for cold therapy includes elements, such as a nozzle, for producing mist from liquid provided for the device, which mist stream is sprayed to a surface area of a treated object in order to cool the treated object, wherein the Sauter mean diameter of the mist is at most 150 μm.
Abstract:
A hand cart includes a body component, a grip component, a support component, a position adjustment mechanism, and a controller. The grip component is arranged relative to the body component at a grip position. The support component is arranged to link the body component and the grip component. The position adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust the grip position of the grip component. The controller is configured to operate the position adjustment mechanism such that displacement of the grip position with respect to a reference position due to an inclination of the body component is corrected.
Abstract:
Adjustable elbow crutch with a main single piece that acts as leg-arm on which a handle and cuff are fixed, for which the handle includes an opening through which the leg-arm passes, said opening constituting an anchor for the handle on the leg-arm, where furthermore the leg-arm is made out of composite material, with an oval cross-section, and the leg-arm disposes of an initial lower segment that is vertical and which is followed in its upper part by a curved segment which defines a support angle. In this way a crutch is obtained that is light, easy to handle, easy and safe to adjust, which covers a continuous range of adjustments and which covers the largest number of possible user categories.
Abstract:
A rollator includes a support frame assembly, a handgrip unit pivotable relative to the support frame assembly between depressed and non-depressed positions, at least three wheels mounted pivotally to a bottom portion of the support frame assembly, and at least one braking device including a brake wire unit connected to the handgrip unit, and a brake fixed to the support frame assembly at a location proximate to one of the wheels and connected to the brake wire unit. The brake includes a casing, a stop member, and a gear connected coaxially to one of the wheels. The stop member is movable between free and braking positions where the stop member is spaced apart from and is engaged with the gear, respectively.
Abstract:
The pelvis support device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is used for a gait rehabilitation robot having a gait assistance link member connected to the leg of a rehabilitator and includes a support frame, one pair of support bars linearly movable along the longitudinal direction of the support frame, a first driving unit for transmitting power so that the support bar moves along the longitudinal direction of the support frame, a ball screw disposed in each support bar, a movable block coupled to the ball screw and linearly movable along the longitudinal direction of the support bar according to the operation of the ball screw, and a second driving unit for transmitting power to drive the ball screw.
Abstract:
The apparatus for immobilizing and treating a subject includes a suitable apparatus for performing mechanical CPR secured to an immobilization casing. The airtight flexible casing is secured to the apparatus for performing CPR, the casing having variable rigidity which varies as a function of the amount of air within the casing. Two or more slots through the casing permit passage of one or more elements of the CPR apparatus to pass through the casing. One or more incompressible windows may be included in the casing to optimize the performance of mechanical CPR by permitting one or more elements of the subject's skeleton to contact the CPR apparatus. A device for evacuating the air from within the flexible casing to control the rigidity of the casing is included within the CPR apparatus.
Abstract:
There is a provided a collapsible walker. The walker includes a pair of spaced-apart, arc-shaped support members. Each support member has a proximal end, a distal end and an apex spaced therebetween. Respective rods extend from the distal ends towards the proximal ends of the support members. A seat extends between and connects to the apexes of the support members. A basket with a pair of spaced-apart ends members operatively connects to and extends between the support members. The end members are positioned adjacent to the distal ends of the support members. Each end member operatively connects to both a respective one of the rods and a respective one of the support members. The walker includes a pair of connection brackets for connecting the end members to the walker. Each connection bracket extends from a respective one of the support members to a respective one of the rods.
