The present disclosure relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive foam comprising a rubber-based elastomeric material, at least one hydrocarbon tackifier and a crosslinking additive selected from the group of multifunctional (meth)acrylate compounds. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing such a pressure sensitive adhesive foam and uses thereof.

A biocompatible controlled release form of complexed iodine is achieved by a complexation of polyvinyl alcohol based foam and characterized by a residual starch component to optimize iodine release profiles. The resulting iodine complexed polyvinyl alcohol foam may be utilized locally as an antimicrobial agent that releases controlled amounts of iodine sufficient to kill microbes for extended durations without excessive bulk and rigidity.

Disclosed is a high filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material, comprising the following parts of raw materials by weight: 15-20 parts polyethylene, 5-20 parts elastomers, 60-80 parts modified calcium carbonate, 1-10 parts chemical foaming agent, 0.5-1.5 parts crosslinking agent and 1-5 parts physical foaming agent. Also disclosed is a method of preparing high filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material. The present invention can prepare a high calcium carbonate filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material with calcium carbonate filler content as high as 55-75%, improving rigidity, hardness and compressive strength of the material while maintaining the elasticity of the foaming material, and reducing material density. The present invention has a simple process, greatly reduces costs and is economical and practical.

The core is made of an injection molded foam from a resin with glass temperature higher than 50° Celsius and provides improved ball performance tolerances as compared to prior art molded balls.

Porous cross-linked polyimide networks are provided. The networks comprise an anhydride end-capped polyamic acid oligomer. The oligomer (i) comprises a repeating unit of a dianhydride and a diamine and terminal anhydride groups, (ii) has an average degree of polymerization of 10 to 50, (iii) has been cross-linked via a cross-linking agent, comprising three or more amine groups, at a balanced stoichiometry of the amine groups to the terminal anhydride groups, and (iv) has been chemically imidized to yield the porous cross-linked polyimide network. Also provided are porous cross-linked polyimide aerogels comprising a cross-linked and imidized anhydride end-capped polyamic acid oligomer, wherein the oligomer comprises a repeating unit of a dianhydride and a diamine, and the aerogel has a density of 0.10 to 0.333 g/cm3 and a Young's modulus of 1.7 to 102 MPa.
