    Abstract: Disclosed is a high filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material, comprising the following parts of raw materials by weight: 15-20 parts polyethylene, 5-20 parts elastomers, 60-80 parts modified calcium carbonate, 1-10 parts chemical foaming agent, 0.5-1.5 parts crosslinking agent and 1-5 parts physical foaming agent. Also disclosed is a method of preparing high filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material. The present invention can prepare a high calcium carbonate filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material with calcium carbonate filler content as high as 55-75%, improving rigidity, hardness and compressive strength of the material while maintaining the elasticity of the foaming material, and reducing material density. The present invention has a simple process, greatly reduces costs and is economical and practical.

    Abstract: The present specification relates to thermally expandable formulations comprising (a) at least one peroxidically crosslinkable binary copolymer comprising at least one monomer unit selected from vinyl acetate, (meth)acrylic acids and derivatives thereof, the binary copolymer having a melt flow index of not more than 3 g/10 min, as determined in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1133 and with a test load of 2.16 kg and a test temperature of 190° C., (b) at least one peroxide, (c) at least one chemical blowing agent, and (d) at least one polymer based on one or more diene monomers, and (e) at least one terpolymer based on at least one first monomer selected from singly or multiply unsaturated hydrocarbons, and on at least one second monomer selected from (meth)acrylic acids and derivatives thereof.     Abstract: Porous cross-linked polyimide networks are provided. The networks comprise an anhydride end-capped polyamic acid oligomer. The oligomer (i) comprises a repeating unit of a dianhydride and a diamine and terminal anhydride groups, (ii) has an average degree of polymerization of 10 to 50, (iii) has been cross-linked via a cross-linking agent, comprising three or more amine groups, at a balanced stoichiometry of the amine groups to the terminal anhydride groups, and (iv) has been chemically imidized to yield the porous cross-linked polyimide network. Also provided are porous cross-linked polyimide aerogels comprising a cross-linked and imidized anhydride end-capped polyamic acid oligomer, wherein the oligomer comprises a repeating unit of a dianhydride and a diamine, and the aerogel has a density of 0.10 to 0.333 g/cm3 and a Young's modulus of 1.7 to 102 MPa. Also provided are thin films comprising aerogels, and methods of making porous cross-linked polyimide networks.
