Abstract: A piezoelectric actuator includes a square suspension plate, an outer frame, plural brackets and a square piezoelectric ceramic plate. The outer frame is arranged around the suspension plate. A second surface of the outer frame and a second surface of the suspension plate are coplanar with each other. The plural brackets are perpendicularly connected between the suspension plate and the outer frame for elastically supporting the suspension plate. Each bracket has a length in a range between 1.11 mm and 1.21 mm and a width in a range between 0.2 mm and 0.6 mm. A length of the piezoelectric ceramic plate is not larger than a length of the suspension plate. The piezoelectric ceramic plate is attached on a first surface of the suspension plate.

Abstract: A liquid supplying device for a human insulin injection includes a substrate, a liquid storage chamber, a flow-guiding-and-actuating unit, a sensor and a driving chip. The flow-guiding-and-actuating unit includes a liquid guiding channel having a liquid guiding outlet in fluid communication with a liquid storage outlet of the liquid storage chamber. The sensor contacts with the human skin to measure a blood glucose level contained in sweat. The driving chip is configured to control the actuation of the flow-guiding-and-actuating unit, control open/closed states of the switching valves and receive the measured data from the sensor for determination. By driving the flow-guiding-and-actuating unit, a pressure gradient is generated, and an insulin liquid stored in the liquid storage chamber is transported to the liquid guiding outlet through the liquid guiding channel, flowing into a microneedle patch, and injected into a subcutaneous tissue through a plurality of hollow microneedles.

Abstract: A fluid system includes a fluid active region, a fluid channel, a convergence chamber and plural valves. The fluid active region includes one or plural fluid-guiding units. Each fluid-guiding unit includes an inlet plate, a substrate, a resonance plate, an actuating plate, a piezoelectric element and an outlet plate, which are stacked sequentially. The piezoelectric element is attached on the actuating plate. When the piezoelectric element drives a bending resonance of the actuating plate, the fluid is transported into the fluid-guiding units and pressurized to be discharged out. The fluid channel includes plural branch channels. The fluid discharged from the fluid active region is split by the branch channels. The convergence chamber is in communication with the fluid channel. The valves are disposed in the branch channels. The fluid is transported through the branch channels according to the open/closed states of the valves.

Abstract: A fluid control device includes a piezoelectric actuator, a housing and a glue body. The piezoelectric actuator includes a suspension plate, an outer frame, a bracket and a piezoelectric element. The housing includes an outlet plate and a base. The outlet plate accommodates the piezoelectric actuator and the base includes an inlet plate and a resonance plate. The glue body is arranged between the outer frame and the resonance plate to maintain a gap formed therebetween. The suspension plate is made of a material having a linear expansion coefficient less than a linear expansion coefficient of the piezoelectric element. The suspension plate has a specified hardness to maintain a curved shape after being heated, and the linear expansion coefficient of the suspension plate is different from a linear expansion coefficient of the resonance plate, so that an effective deformation displacement between the suspension plate and the resonance plate is obtained.

Abstract: A three-dimensional integrated circuit cooling system is provided for removing heat from a three-dimensional integrated circuit. Plural fluid microchannels are formed among plural middle chip layers and a main chip layer of the three-dimensional integrated circuit. The three-dimensional integrated circuit cooling system comprises a base and a fluid pump. The base has an introduction opening, a discharge opening and a fluid passage. The discharged fluid passes along every fluid microchannel of the three-dimensional integrated circuit as flowing through the plural middle chip layers and the main chip layer so as to perforin heat exchange therewith.

Abstract: An inkjet chip of printing module of a rapid prototyping apparatus and a control circuit thereof are disclosed. The inkjet chip has a length and a width to define a total area including an unwiring area and a wiring area. The unwiring area has at least three liquid supply slots in parallel with each other and respectively connected to one of the ink chambers of the modular ink cartridge. The wiring area has a control circuit. The control circuit includes a plurality of liquid ejectors. Each liquid ejector has a heating resistor, a driving transistor, and a nozzle. The control circuit is connected to receive a power signal, a printing data signal, a preheating data signal, a preheating control signal, a reverse preheating control signal, a heating control signal, and a reverse heating control signal and connected with the common connection node for controlling the liquid ejector.

Abstract: A driving system includes a voltage conversion module, a switching module, a detecting module, a voltage dividing module and a microcontroller. The voltage conversion module converts a first DC voltage into a second DC voltage. The switching module converts the second DC voltage into an AC voltage so as to drive a piezoelectric actuator of a piezoelectric pump. The detecting module includes a feedback circuit and a gas pressure sensor, wherein the feedback circuit detects an electric power reference value of the switching module, and the gas pressure sensor detects the gas pressure value of the piezoelectric pump. The microcontroller acquires a working frequency according to the electric power reference value so as to operate the piezoelectric actuator at the working frequency. The microcontroller controls the voltage conversion module to adjust the output voltage. Consequently, a gas pressure in the piezoelectric pump is correspondingly adjusted.

Abstract: A fluid control device includes a piezoelectric actuator and a deformable substrate. The piezoelectric actuator includes a piezoelectric element and a vibration plate. The deformable substrate is bent in the direction away from the vibration plate. There is a specified depth maintained between the flexible plate and the bulge of the vibration plate. The flexible plate includes a movable part corresponding to the bulge of vibration plate.
