Abstract:
In a massager having a pair of medical treating members, a distance between the medical treating in medical treatment such as tapping or backstretch, except massaging can be varied corresponding to rotation angle of a driving shaft. A distance detector comprises a rotation disc rotated with the rotation of the driving shaft and having at least two apertures formed along the same circle, and an optical detector for detecting edged of the apertures in circumferential direction of the rotation disc. At least three edges of the aperture are homologized to at least three stages of the distances between the medical treating members, so that the distances between the medical treating members can be adjusted by monitoring output signal of the optical detectors.
Abstract:
A massaging mechanism includes a first rotary shaft supported in a right-and-left direction right and left swing arms relatively rotatably mounted on the first rotary shaft, massaging heads each secured to an upper and a lower end portion of each of the swing arms, a bracing member engaged with each of the swing arms to restrain the swing arm from rotating in connection with rotation of the first rotary shaft, a first operating mechanism for swinging the swing arms in opposite directions in the right-and-left direction to each other so that a right and left pair of massaging heads respectively secured to the upper end portions move toward each other while the massaging heads respectively secured to the lower end portions of the swing arms are moved away from each other in the right-and-left direction, and vice versa, by the rotation of the first rotary shaft.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vehicle seat for a motor vehicle, in which the seat cushion (2) and the seat back (3) are each provided with a plurality of pressurizable elements (4) which can be activated by a controller (5) to obtain different massage effects, the pressurizable elements (4) being cushion-like elements which are small in relation to the surface of the seat contour and can each be activated separately via lines (6) in order to change the seat contour in an essentially punctiform manner.
Abstract:
A transmission assembly for a massaging chair includes an integral transmission casing with a longitudinal passage and two latitudinal passages to respectively receive therein a longitudinal shaft, a chopping shaft and a rubbing shaft so that minimal noise is created during operation of the transmission assembly.
Abstract:
A massager including a shoulder massaging apparatus having a pair of massaging members and a first moving device for moving the pair of massaging members between a contacting position in which the pair of members contact with shoulders of a user and a retreated position in which the pair of massaging members are separated from the shoulders to massage the shoulders by disposing the pair of massaging members in the contacting position, a neck massaging apparatus having a second moving device for moving the pair of massaging members between a contacting position in which the pair of members contact with a neck of the user, and a retreated position in which the pair of massaging members are separated from the neck, to massage the neck by disposing the pair of massaging members in the contacting position, and a controlling apparatus for controlling operations of the shoulder and neck massaging apparatuses, the controlling apparatus being controllable independent, before and after, and simultaneous operations of the shoulder and neck massaging apparatuses, respectively.
Abstract:
A massaging structure with a buffer function includes a threaded rod positioned in a frame, and a coil spring respectively provided at an upper end section and a lower end section of the threaded rod. When a moving member of a massaging roller moves to the highest point or to the lowest point of the threaded rod, a micro switch at the highest point and at the lowest point of the threaded rod is contacted by the moving member, turned on and activating a motor to reverse its rotating direction. If the motor stops in case of a disorder, the coil springs can let the moving member jump up and down so that a user may know a disorder happened and correct it. Thus, the threads of the threaded rod and the moving member can be protected from damage.
Abstract:
A massage device for manipulating a user includes a support member and a manipulator carried by the support member. The manipulator is adapted to engage and apply a shear force to the user. The manipulator is rotatable about at least one axis relative to the support member and a brake operably connected to the manipulator selectively adjusts rotation of the manipulator about the at least one axis so that the shear force applied to the user by the manipulator is adjusted. In automatically controlled embodiments, a controller adjusts the braking force according to signals received from a detector to prevent or reduce slippage of the roller and to dynamically control the magnitude of the shear force applied to the user. In manually embodiments, an operator adjusts the braking force to a fixed magnitude or dynamically adjusts the braking force to control the shear force applied to the user.
Abstract:
A kneading massager has a speed reduction gear unit in mesh with the output shaft of a DC driving motor to input the mechanical power of the motor, the speed reduction gear unit has several output shafts to engage with a tapered massage block thereby making the massage block to perform tender and comfortable kneading motion like human fingers when being driven by the Dc motor.
Abstract:
A massage system is provided that includes a motor, at least one bellows and at least one inflatable bladder connected to each bellows. Each bellows has an extended position and a retracted position, wherein operation of the motor causes each bellows to move between the extended and retracted positions. When each bellows is moved from the extended to the retracted position, air is expelled from the bellows and enters a corresponding one of the at least one inflatable bladder and when each bellows is moved from the retracted to the extended position, air is extracted from a corresponding one of the at least one inflatable bladder and enters the bellows.
Abstract:
A cover for massaging member on an elastic chair has an elongated body made of soft material. The elongated body has an open side with two edges, two open ends, and a zipper mounted at the open side for fastening the edges of the open side. A chamber is defined in the elongated body and two openings are respectively defined at the open ends when the open side is zipped up. Multiple bulges are protruded from the body. Whereby, massaging members and wires can be concealed and cushioned by the cover and the elastic chair will have an attractive appearance and make a user sitting on the chair feel more comfortable.
