The utility model provides a data card that includes a circuit board, a holder, an upper cover, a connecting wire, and an interface. The circuit board is fixed in the holder. One end of the flexible connecting wire is connected with the circuit board, and the other end of the flexible connecting wire is connected with the interface. The upper cover covers the holder. When the data card is idle, the interface and the flexible connecting wire are located in the cavity formed by the upper cover and the holder. When the data card is connected with an external device by the interface, the interface is located outside the cavity formed by the upper cover and the holder. The data card enables flexible adjustment of the location of the interface, and fixes the upper cover on the data card when the data card is connected for use.

A PET scanner (20, 22, 24, 26) generates a plurality of time stamped lines of response (LORs). A motion detector (30) detects a motion state, such as motion phase or motion amplitude, of the subject during acquisition of each of the LORs. A sorting module (32) sorts the LORs by motion state and a reconstruction processor (36) reconstructs the LORs into high spatial, low temporal resolution images in the corresponding motion states. A motion estimator module (40) determines a motion transform which transforms the LORs into a common motion state. A reconstruction module (50) reconstructs the motion corrected LORs into a static image or dynamic images, a series of high temporal resolution, high spatial resolution images.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to selecting a portfolio. One embodiment of the present invention includes identifying a network comprising a source node, a target node, a first set of intermediate nodes that correspond to a set of objects from which a portfolio is selected, a second set of intermediate nodes, and a plurality of directed links. Also, the embodiment comprises initializing a network flow through the directed links and redistributing the flow through a subset of the plurality of directed links including directed links extending between the source node and the first set of intermediate nodes, between the first set of intermediate nodes and the second set of intermediate nodes. Further, the embodiment includes identifying members of the portfolio by determining which nodes of the first set of intermediate nodes have a network flow from the source node equal to or greater than a threshold value.
Abstract:
A nested chain of densest subgraphs is derived by a computer from a given graph that has multiple vertices and edges. The two ends of each edge are assigned with respective incident weights, and each vertex is given a vertex weight. A weight balancing process is carried out by the computer to iteratively go through the edges to adjust the incident weights of each edge and the vertex weights of the vertices connected by that edge to reduce a difference between the vertex weights of the two vertices. After the balancing, the vertex weights are put in an ordered sequence according to their values, and a nested chain of densest subgraphs is derived from the ordered sequence.

Processes for catalytically synthesizing ethylbenzene from ethanol and benzene comprising: 1) reacting a first mixture comprising ethanol and benzene with at least one catalyst chosen from binder-containing alkylation catalysts and binder-free alkylation catalysts in an alkylation reactor to obtain a second mixture comprising residual benzene, ethylbenzene, diethylbenzene, and water; 2) passing the second mixture successively through a benzene recovery tower, an ethylbenzene recovery tower, and a polyethylbenzene recovery tower to obtain separated water, separated benzene, separated ethylbenzene, and separated diethylbenzene; and 3) reacting a third mixture with at least one transalkylation catalyst in a transalkylation reactor, wherein the third mixture comprises at least some of the separated benzene and at least some of the separated diethylbenzene at a weight ratio ranging from about 2:1 to about 10:1.

An exemplary embodiment of portable electronic device with guide function includes a housing, a processing unit, a command unit, and a guiding unit. The processing unit and the guiding unit are positioned inside the housing, and the command unit is positioned at least partially outside of the housing. The processing unit is electrically connected to the command unit and the guiding unit. Operating the command unit, the portable electronic device with guide function is actuated into guiding mode controlled by the processing unit. The guiding unit sends detection signals to detect obstacles, receives feedback signals from the obstacles, the processing unit receives the feedback signal from the guiding unit to generate corresponding obstacle types and distance according to the feedback signal.

A system and method of determining at least one location for a retail outlet in a region are described. The system and method use clustering technology for partitioning the region into a fixed number of sub-regions. Then, the system and method compute marginal increments from input data for each sub-region. The system and method choose a sub-region having a maximal marginal increment for a location of a first retail outlet.

A spectra shaping apparatus for chirped pulse amplification (CPA): uses a spectrum decomposing system with CTSI construction, a spectrum synthesizing system with CTSI structure that is optically symmetrical to the decomposing structure, and a spectrum shaping system including an aperture and a planar reflector for spectrum shaping function design. The apparatus accomplishes the following functions: firstly decomposing the spectrum of a chirped temporal pulse laser to a spectral domain; then shaping the spectrum in the spectral domain; finally synthesizing un-shiftily this shaped spectrum in the spectral domain into a temporal chirped pulse with a designed shape. The apparatus has the feature of fabricating easy, compacting the structure, requiring less space, and cheap in cost etc., which it can be the different types of configuration for different circumstance application, which it can be not only utilized in a general laser spectrum shaping and spectrum modulation, but also can be utilized for a high energy and ultra-high peak-power laser system in chirped pulse amplification with a large caliber and with a chirped pulse bandwidth of a few nanometers.

Methods and apparatus for electrochemically determining an analyte concentration value in a physiological sample are disclosed. The methods include using a test strip in which two time-current transients are measured by a meter electrically connected to an electrochemical test strip. Integrative current values are derived from the time-current transients and used in the calculation of analyte concentration.

To estimate a price for selling a product j in a commerce channel comprises: a) receiving, at a processor device, real market data including sales and price history data of a product j sold by one or more retailers over one or alternate sales channels t; generating, by the processor device, a competitive advantage parameter value based on the sales and price history data; and, computing, utilizing the competitive advantage parameter value, an optimum price for a particular product to be marketed in one of the one or alternate sales channel.
