Abstract: An ion beam generating device includes a liquid metal ion source configured to melt metal and emit an ion beam, and an extractor disposed under the liquid metal ion source and configured to extract the ion beam emitted from the liquid metal ion source. The liquid metal ion source includes a storage configured to accommodate the metal, an emitter configured to receive the metal from the storage and emit the ion beam, and a heater configured to heat the emitter or the storage. The heater is configured to directly heat the metal accommodated in the storage to melt the metal into a liquid state, and an amount of the ion beam to be extracted is controlled by a voltage difference that changes based on a distance between the emitter and the extractor.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biomarker for diagnosis of overactive bladder (OAB) disease, and a method for screening a drug using the biomarker. The markers described in the present invention can effectively detect or diagnose the onset of OAB by distinguishing them from normal populations. In particular, OAB-specific protein markers released into urine enable simple and rapid OAB diagnosis in a non-invasive manner. In addition, by selecting an agent that changes, particularly normalizes the expression and activity of the markers selected in the present invention, more effective preventative or therapeutic agents of OAB disease can be screened.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a beef-specific age determination marker containing the p21 protein, to an antibody specifically bound to bovine p21 protein, to a beef-specific age determination kit containing the antibody which is specifically bound to the bovine p21 protein, and to a method which involves detecting the bovine p21 protein through an antigen-antibody binding reaction using the antibody which is specifically bound to the bovine p21 protein serving as a beef-specific age determination marker in the muscle tissue of beef, so as to determine the age of the beef. According to the present invention, the p21 protein is significantly greatly expressed in the muscle tissue of beef, the age of which is lower than 30 months, and is hardly expressed in the muscle tissue of beef, the age of which is greater than 30 months, and thus can be valuably used as a beef-specific age determination marker.

Abstract: Provided are an anode active material for secondary battery which includes porous iron oxide nanoparticles, a manufacturing method thereof, and a secondary battery including the same. The anode active material for secondary battery of the present disclosure minimizes a volume change of iron oxide caused by intercalation and deintercalation of lithium even during consecutive charges and discharges and thus can improve the capacity and lifespan characteristics of a secondary battery employing the anode active material. Further, the manufacturing method of an anode active material for secondary battery makes it possible to manufacture an anode active material for secondary battery including iron oxide nanoparticles in an environmentally friendly and simple manner and thus makes it possible to mass-produce the anode active material.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of a cathode active material for lithium secondary battery, including: preparing a first solution by mixing a metal oxide and a solvent; preparing a metal-mixed solution by adding an acidic solution to the first solution and then applying ultrasonic waves to the mixture; centrifuging the metal-mixed solution; preparing a second solution by mixing a supernatant of the centrifuged metal-mixed solution, a reductant, and a solvent and then applying ultrasonic waves to the mixture; obtaining powder by filtering and then drying the second solution; forming mesoporous spherical nanoparticles by mixing the powder, a metal, a lithium precursor, and a solvent, applying ultrasonic waves to the mixture and then drying the mixture; and performing a heat treatment to the spherical nanoparticles, and a cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery obtained by the manufacturing method. The cathode active material for lithium secondary battery is mesoporous spherical nanoparticles.

Abstract: Disclosed is a temperature distribution measuring device for measuring the temperature distribution or the heat generation distribution in a sample. An embodiment collects a reflection signal the reflectivity of which changes on the basis of a bias signal applied to a sample, detects a signal of interest, which has been reflected from a region of interest in the sample, from the reflected signal, converts the signal of interest to a frequency range signal, calculates the relative amount of change in reflectivity of the sample by using a direct current component extracted on the basis of filtering of the frequency range signal and a frequency component of the bias signal, and acquires a thermal image of the sample on the basis of the relative amount of change in reflectivity.
