The invention further relates to a roll-on dispenser (10) for dispensing a viscous medium with a container (12) for the viscous medium and such a roll-on applicator device (11).
Abstract:
Method for producing a syringe with a glued cannula, in which a syringe body is provided with a lubricant internally at high temperature, and either the lubricant is prevented from penetrating into a cannula receptacle of the syringe body, or the lubricant is cleared from the cannula receptacle of the syringe body afterward, and a cannula is glued into the cannula receptacle; and a syringe with a body comprising a cylinder portion and a narrowed cannula receptacle portion, whereby the cylinder portion is provided internally with a lubricant—this being deposited at high temperature—a cannula receptacle of the receptacle portion is cleared of lubricant, and a cannula is glued into the cannula receptacle.
Abstract:
The invention consists of a glass bottle (1) fitted with a narrowed neck (2) which can be filled under pressure with chiefly a medically active substance sprayable by aerosol and with a propellant and which exhibits an opening which may be closed using a dosage valve (5). This glass bottle (1) has a sprayed on synthetic coating (4) to protect it against shattering and splintering, preventing the user from being injured by the broken bottle. To substantially enhance this safety, the neck (2) of the bottle (1) has been fitted with a bulge like edge (3) at the opening which is also coated with the synthetic material (4) and onto which the dosage valve (5) is mechanically attached by turning. Furthermore, the coating (4) consists of an elastic synthetic material with pronounced increased shrinkage properties used for the summoning of pre-stressing force on the glass body (1) and it exhibits several hole like pressure relieving openings (7) permitting rapid pressure release in case of shattering.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for administering substances at overpressure. The device includes a pressure vessel made of glass and containing a substance to be discharged from the pressure vessel and at least one propellent. The pressure vessel has an opening and an actuable discharge element mounted on the pressure vessel in the opening for releasing the substance from the pressure vessel. A self-supporting housing encloses the pressure vessel and at least a portion of the discharge element to prevent splinters of glass and the discharge element from being propelled away from the device in the event that the pressure vessel bursts. The self-supporting housing has a lower portion made of transparent plastic to facilitate viewing the substance in the pressure vessel.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a container body (20) of a tube, the methods comprising the steps of imprinting a sheet material (10) on one of its surfaces, bending the imprinted sheet material into the shape of the container body (20) of the tube with the imprinted surface on the outside, sealing adjacent edges (15) of the bent imprinted sheet material, and coating the bent imprinted sheet material with a transparent plastics sheathing (17) by extrusion, wherein the material of the plastics sheathing (17) and/or the ink used for imprinting are chosen such that the plastics sheathing (17) does not adhere to the imprint (14), resulting in one or more ventilation areas (18) being formed between the imprinted sheet material and the plastics sheathing (17). The invention furthermore relates to a container body manufactured by such a method.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an insert (5) for a tube (1) for dispensing liquid content in the form of drops, wherein the insert (5) comprises at least one notch (16; 17) at its outer wall, with the notch (16; 17) extending in the longitudinal direction, wherein the insert (5) is provided with an annular indentation (10), the annular indentation (10) dividing the insert into a proximal part (7) and a distal part (8) that are connected by a shaft (9), wherein both the proximal part (7) and the distal part (8) comprise a notch (16; 18) extending in the longitudinal direction on the respective outer wall, and wherein the outer diameter of the proximal part (7) and the outer diameter of the distal part (8) of the insert (5) are such that they match the inner diameter of a spout (2) of a tube (1), into which the insert (5) shall be placed. The invention further relates to a tube (1) with such an insert (5).
Abstract:
An electrostatic coating plant coats components with a coating agent that is electrically charged by high voltage device. A first operating variable of a high voltage device may be determined and compared to a limit value. A safety measure may be initiated if the comparison between the first operating variable and the limit value indicates a disturbance in the electrostatic coating plant. The limit value may be flexibly adjusted depending on the operation mode.

Abstract:
A syringe tip cap sealingly closes a distal opening of a syringe body. The syringe tip cap has a fastening ring which can be placed and fastened on the syringe body about the distal opening, and a closure cap which closes the distal opening in a sealed manner and is connected releasably to the fastening ring. The fastening ring has a locking means device that locks together with a locking device of the closure cap. The locking device of the fastening ring and the locking device of the closure cap are configured in such a way that they cannot be unlocked without sustaining damage. The syringe tip cap may be produced in a two-component injection molding process.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a needle guard assembly for the needle part of a syringe body in the form of a needle guard that covers the needle and which is displaceable on the syringe body in the longitudinal direction, and with a grip plate being integrally formed on that end of the syringe body remote from the needle. The needle guard assembly includes a syringe body ending with a needle. A piston rod in the syringe body has a receiving part and a push-in part that telescopes into the receiving part. A syringe-body grip plate is integrally formed on the syringe body. The syringe-body grip plate opposes the needle. A needle guard is arranged longitudinally along the syringe body and covers the needle when the needle guard is displaced longitudinally.
