Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP) station (STA) configured for operating in a next-generation (NG) wireless local area network (WLAN) (i.e., EHT) are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a comb resource unit (RU) structure may be used to distribute tones of an RU across a wider bandwidth for narrow RU power spectral density (PSD) boosting for longer-range transmission in EHT to meet ETSI and/or FCC limitations.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to an invalid location measurement report (LMR) indication. A device may identify a first null data packet (NDP) received from a first station device during, wherein the first NDP is used for channel sounding. The device may perform a time of arrival (ToA) calculation based on the NDP. The device may determine an invalid indication associated with the first NDP based on the ToA calculation. The device may generate an LMR comprising of the invalid measurement indication. The device may cause to send the LMR to the first device.

Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The STA may determine a portion of a channel occupied by an incumbent device. The STA may refrain from communication in a first subset of resource units (RUs) that overlap the portion of the channel occupied by the incumbent device. The STA may determine a combined RU that comprises two or more RUs of a second subset of RUs that do not overlap the portion of the channel occupied by the incumbent device. The STA may encode a physical layer convergence procedure protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission in the combined RU. The PPDU may be encoded in accordance with joint coding across the RUs of the combined RU.

A device may generate payload bits associated with a frame to be sent to a first station device. The device may generate a first output bits having a first length based on the application of a first mask of one or more masks to the payload bits. The device may generate a second output bits having a second length based on the application of a second mask of the one or more masks. The device may compare the first length of the first output bits to the second length of the second output bits. The device may select the first mask or the second mask based on the comparison. The device may convert the payload bits using the selected mask before passing through a shaping encoder to generate shaped bits. The device may cause to send the frame bits and an indication of the selected mask to the first station device.
