    Abstract: A computing device includes communications circuitry to communicate with a first access network and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is to perform operations to transmit an authorization request for a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication to a V2X application function within a service coordinating entity, the request transmitted from the device via the first access network V2X configuration parameters are received from the service coordinating entity, via the first access network. The V2X configuration parameters are received in response to the authorization request and based on V2X subscription information received by the V2X application function via a V2X application programming interface (API) within the service coordinating entity. A V2X communication link for the V2X communication is established with a second device based on the V2X configuration parameters, the second device associated with a second access network.

    Abstract: Various systems and methods for establishing, configuring, and operating multi-access edge computing (MEC) communications, such as in connection with management of preferred channel allocations between two or more vehicle-to-everything (V2X) Radio Access Technologies (RATs), are discussed herein. In embodiments, a resource allocation (for example, channel allocations) for vehicle user equipment (vUEs) is determined based on a number of vUEs supporting each of one or more V2X RATs detected in one or more coverage areas of one or more Road Side Units (RSUs).     Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and machine-readable storage media of a multi-access edge computing (MEC) component, of a first MEC system, for discovering platforms in MEC systems, are described. In an example, a list of MEC system identifiers is received from a dedicated reference point. The MEC system identifiers includes a system identifier of a second, different MEC system. A list of available MEC hosts in the second MEC system that fulfill a predefined requirement is received. A list of shareable services on the first MEC system is determined. Information is provided to the second MEC system regarding the list of shareable services on the first MEC system.

    Abstract: Techniques for maintaining service continuity in a 5G NR network in communication with a MEC system and an edge application (EDGEAPP) system are disclosed. A notification message originating from a service management function (SMF) of a core network (CN) is decoded at a network exposure function (NEF) of the CN. The notification message includes a UE IP address change of a UE. A private IP address of the UE is determined based on the UE IP address change. A query with the private IP address is encoded for transmission to a NAT server. A response from the NAT server is decoded. The response includes a public IP address and a UE ID of the UE. The public IP address corresponds to the private IP address. A tuple including the UE ID, the public IP address, and the private IP address is generated at the NEF.

    Abstract: A system configured to track network slicing operations within a 5G communication network includes processing circuitry configured to determine a network slice instance (NSI) associated with a QoS flow of a UE. The NSI communicates data for a network function virtualization (NFV) instance of a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) system within the 5G communication network. Latency information for a plurality of communication links used by the NSI is retrieved. The plurality of communication links includes a first set of non-MEC communication links associated with a radio access network (RAN) of the 5G communication network and a second set of MEC communication links associated with the MEC system. A slice configuration policy is generated based on the retrieved latency information and slice-specific attributes of the NSI. Network resources of the 5G communication network used by the NSI are reconfigured based on the generated slice configuration policy.
